Help for discouraged fan

I hate the idea that my mind is allowing me to believe in conspiracy theories. It's one thing for me to accept that MSM is jaded towards a guy who will cost them money. But it's a whole other thing to think that across this country there is tons of voter fraud going on. Please tell me it is minimal and not enough to have given us the wins in Iowa and Nevada especially?

If the people with power really can sway these officials, aren't we all screwed anyway? It sounds so down, but really do we think we can stop the blind minds of many? I expected so much more from Nevada and find it disheartening that we're even close to Newt. Either it is true and that's just a sad fact about USA or it's not and morality among hundreds or thousands of GOP workers exists. It would seem if this was true, there'd be at least one whistle blower who'd say "here's evidence the GOP is telling us to commit crimes with voter fraud. If there's no serious collection of evidence and yet fraud really is going on, then might at well forget about politics and just enjoy what little time we have on this earth. sorry for the down mood. Bad day for RP in NV and bad night for New Englanders.

I have been in this fight for my lifetime

Never before during the last half century has Liberty had such a rallying cry.
Did you think this would be easy?
We are trying to wrestle the largest military into control.
In the beginning of this decade I believe they thought they had it ... they could taste it.... the plan was succeeding. This years ndaa was the final move. but wait...
People are waking up. These rallies you see today with thousands of people used to be 500 people 20 years ago.
Don't give up ... this will be an arduous task.
But as the Doctor says
Freedom is Popular.

There may be some voter fraud

But I don't think it is enough to make a huge impact.

Throw the other conspiracy stuff out though. People need to remember that even these alleged conspirators have friends family's neighbors and mistakes. Essentially they have lives outside of their "evil" plans. I just don't buy most of them and think they are distractions.

Media bias, yes, why? Cause Ron Paul makes the left nervous and hypocritical by being a stronger character than 99 percent of the left and stands for a lot of things important to them....and they are worried, deep down, that he could win and beat Obama.

The right doesn't like him because a victory shows legitimacy to his foreign policy view via the American public. This makes a large portion of their stance seemingly wrong or out of sync by one of their own party. The ego has a large role here.

Just focus on things like rp does. Stay the course, always take the high ground, and keep making your case.

All we can do is our best and if that doesn't work hopefully someone will take over the reins and carry forth. Hopefully we don't have another war or financial collapse on our hands at that point.

How can such an effort be executed everywhere?

One needs to look no further than the network of secret societies that covers this nation. Their agents are in decision-making positons everywhere already - it's very easy for the order to come down, and everyone carries out their orders with ruthless efficiency.

No whistle-blowers will come forth from such a group - they are bound by bloody oaths of secrecy and allegiance which carry some horrible penalties if they speak out.

dude you freak me out, yet I

dude you freak me out, yet I can't deny the likelihood. The LOVE of money is the root of ALL evil. The enemies of this world will not sit idly by and watch someone cause them to lose billions of dollars.

Being "discouraged" is...

...just one stop on a long journey. I know it doesn't seem like it now but there is much more to be encouraged about than discouraged about. See my comment on another thread.

Thanks for sharing. with all

Thanks for sharing. with all the realtime gossip columns it absolutely shocks me that we aren't getting this stuff on film. it should be filmed from multiple angles and all votes recorded live. no phoning in numbers to who-knows-who somewhere with no accountability. At every precinct and every place where vote tallies are phoned in for a county or state, there should be one rep, appointed by each campaign to watch the votes and vote tallies come in and to watch the running total. can't let the party choose the reps. can't let quote-unquote volunteers do it. have each campaign watch. for each precinct's votes to count, a rep from each party must sign off that they are accurate. for them to count towards the tally, a rep from each must sign off that they were inputted correctly. no software system. no back room counting, etc. there's absolutely NO REASON we can't have full transparency in this process in today's world.

It's real.

I live in NH. Dead people manage to vote here every election. Election fraud does exist in this country. There is media manipulation. Voter intimidation. Misplaced boxes of results, etc. Hanging chads. It's not just because Ron Paul happens to be running this year... but because we are all following Dr. Paul very closely, we are noticing all the little quirks and peculiarities of the system.

The outrage and depression you're feeling is normal...but you aren't alone in feeling it. We've absolutely got to face the truth that things aren't necessarily fair in America, just because we believe them to be. Too many Americans trust the system, so there is very little real demand for more election transparency. But we can't beat an opponent we can't see... so the only way to change that is by shining a light on it. Get involved. Record what you see. Don't take anything for granted.

There was good news too

Maine is very good news, and it's been happening for more than one week.

As early as Saturday the 11th there'll likely be very good news for Ron Paul supporters, and it'll come out of Maine.

In the meantime, help out either there or wherever you can.

Besides, the good Ron Paul supporters in Nevada won us delegates, we just don't yet have an absolute fix on how many and can't know until their state convention.

Same is true of Iowa...we won't know till June how many national delegates Ron Paul wins there...it's likely to be a majority of the total, meaning it's likely he won Iowa.

In all probability Ron Paul will win more national delegates in each of the 3 caucus states combined than anyone in the race...yes, it's likely he already is the frontrunner of the caucus states....it's just not reported in any detail so viewers don't know that yet.

Remember, no caucus state yet actually has chosen delegates to the national convention and our side is by far the best positioned to kick up a real ruckus at each state GOP convention, where the national delegates will be chosen.

Ron Paul supporters do not back down from a fight. They keep showing up for every fight.

Don't rely on the news media, which concentrates on hype, ignorance and outright falsehoods...they peddle what sells, which is easy answers.

The truth is much harder to come by.

The truth is the Ron Paul campaign is winning hearts and minds like this nation hasn't seen before.

Keep your chin up and your nose to the grindstone.

Now is not a time to be depressed. There'll be plenty of time for that later on...or not!

The voter fraud is barely scratching the surface.

The voter fraud is barely scratching the surface. And the only reason you have trouble with “conspiracy theories” is because that’s part of the programming. They control what you hear and see therefore they control what you think.

Those who believe what is written in their bibles should have little trouble accepting the notion of “conspiracy” when it says in Revelation, “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world.”

Is that not the revealing of the greatest conspiracy of all time?

your example and line of thinking

are in line with what sits in the depths of my mind making me wonder if there's any hope. While I'm not a Christian who is content sitting back while the world goes to ruins, I do often wonder what real role I can play in changing that ultimate story as shown in revelation. before Paul I was ready to stop voting, convinced all politicians were in the pockets of corporations and not looking out for our interests. I was convinced there were none that could be trusted. while I finally awoke and saw there is at least one, it is a big hurdle to overcome the lies entrenched in our country. how that plays out in the Ultimate plan is daunting to say the least.

"role I can play in changing...ultimate story ..in revelation"

Well the ultimate story as shown in Revelation is good news…. The good guys win… why would you want to change that?

I look at

how far we have come in just 4 years. States are questioning lots of things. They are putting bills in to restore our freedoms. Slowly but surely we are winning. All thanks to Dr. Paul for helping to awaken the masses and cure our apathy. While I want to give him all the credit it also has to do with lots of hard work by all of us.

To those who remain silent...

Their corruption will haunt them and their lives, because truth radiates. Since we know there is definite fraud, someone will definitely come forward. It's only telling when that happens that is a problem.

the fraud is real

"certainly the game is rigged, but if you don't play, you can't win."--robert heinlein

i believe there will come a time when many, many americans are going to come to this realization. i just hope it's not too late when they do.

We understand how you feel, however,

you MUST understand that the real battle is waged from within party apparatus itself. Those folks in Iowa, Maine and Nevada (please don't anyone take offense in other states, I know every RP supporter who has infiltrated is part of the solution) have done such a tremendous job that will NEVER be acknowledged by mainstream media for the fear it will communicate hope to those who would be swayed to vote for RP but don't because they've been told he doesn't have a chance.

I bet you every one of those persons in those precincts who became delegates for RP would tell you we may have lost the battle (popular vote) but they're going to win the war at the state convention and RP will have more delegates to vote at the National convention than Mitt Romney in a number of states.

Each of us must figure out how we will respond to the adversity, both created by media and by ourselves, after these elections. Will you get depressed or will the reasons you became a RP supporter help you rise up to do something more? Will it cause you to buy super brochures to be mailed? Will it cause you to hand out brochures in person? Will you work a phone bank? Or even better yet...will you learn what it takes to get inside the apparatus and strive to become a delegate and whatever that takes in your state?

This is not a one year effort. This is a movement to restore this country to its foundational roots. That means we need more people infiltrating the GOP apparatus and becoming the champion of our cause.

We all come to this crusade from different paths but once we come together we all can learn to be more effective in fighting for what we all want. You and I have been here at DailyPaul for roughly the same amount of time. If I can be a source of support directly to you just use the Contact feature in your account settings. I would be more than glad to share some of the strength I have built up in recent months if you would like to talk more.

Every day there are new Ron Paul supporters. We ARE rising!

"Criticizing Ron Paul for not passing bills in Congress is like criticizing a nun in a whore house for not turning tricks. He was there to stop the "whoring," not become one!" ~ Blake Buffington

of course there's voter fraud.

I don't know why so many in the Daily Paul community are in denial that the whole system is rigged for the establishment.

thanks

Thanks for the replies. I am trying to spread the word. I have a 2 year old daughter and I am depressed yet hopeful for her future. Depressed at the idea that she does live in a Matrix that is not what it seems and hopeful that there are people fighting from within to free us all. I will help but it is so hard, but so worth it. I like the quote about playing the game even though it's rigged. I just hope somehow someone with a conscience comes forward. Actually I hope many do. I hope there's a news anchor on a national level who is willing to risk their career in the name of freedom.
