If We Survive As a Nation

An increasing number of sheeple are being converted so perhaps Rand Paul or a Ron Paul hand picked successor will head the ticket. It matters little who carrys on; his message will ultimately win the day. Enough of the sheeple will finally realize their mistake and make belated amends.
Having said that, if Dr. Paul fails to win the oval office, I'm rather pessimistic about our future as a nation. My gut says that there won't be much to govern by 2016. In fact, it's very possible that there will be a wave of secessions prior to 2016 leaving the USSA looking more like the USSR; circa 1989.
A more de-centralized government and a less dependent populace will lie in the wake of massive riots culminating in the dead and dying lying in the streets as a result of the tsunami that awaits us.
My hope is that after the dust has settled we will once again be referred to as "these" united States and not "The" United States.

Nelson Hultberg is brilliant
He's written some of the most concision and on point stuff I've seen in recent years.
He is absolutely worth listening to and considering what he says carefully
We will not immediately get 0% Federal Income Tax
It's totally unrealistic to demand that and reject what he is saying on that basis.
On the other hand, and uniform 10% tax rate IS politically possible with a strong 3rd party platform and candidate.
And - if enacted - it keeps the pressure on the Federal Government to reduce spending and shrink.

I speak for no one but myself here...
For me this is a huge NO WAY. Not happening. No Income Tax! There is no way that anyone is going to ever convince me that the Government should get their hands on my money... BEFORE I'M EVEN THINKING ABOUT SPENDING IT. Stated another way, the Government would get their hands on my money, before I do! Forget that.
Consumption based flat tax, okay. Otherwise, I'm outta there. And I was.
