Standing at my Polling Place in Missouri. FINAL PRECINCT UPDATE and Numbers
Submitted by joeinmo on Tue, 02/07/2012 - 11:42I'm standing there at my polling place in Missouri, when the electioneering Nazis tried to kick me out, needless to say I'm still here and told the attorney 25 feet is the law.
Mostly old people right now
turnout low
we are in Springfield, mo and we have people at nearly every precinct.
The vote doesn't count, the caucus in March does, but we are trying to snag Paul supporters to tell them do they know to go to the caucus.

I had the ONLY precinct in Springfield, MO - Greene County where Ron Paul came in 2nd
Santorum was first
Ron Paul had 74 votes
Mitt Romney 68 votes
Again, I pushed Ron Paul's Military record only one that served, the others either dodged the draft or didn't serve. I think this is why My precinct came in second.

Voted, my grandparents as well.
Got BS'd by the workers that this was the caucus and the primary was in April. Rolled my eyes, told them this was the useless Primary and the Caucus was in March and left. Place was DEAD!
Looking forward to the "primary" in "April" but Ive still got to vote in the "other" caucus on March 17th... and drag even more people with me.
Surprised how many rampant Paul supporters there are in MO when looking at this thread and the one on RPF's.

Is it because everyone is waiting for the caucus? Crazy that Gingnut didn't get on the ballot but can participate in the caucus. Lets win the caucus.

UPDATE: I called it a day with 30 minutes to go
Dark, voters can't see signs real good, cold rain.
had about 560 voters in my precinct, but they are not all Republicans, there was Democrats, Libertarians and the Constitution Party ballots. So a very low turnout, normally we are talking 1200 to 1500+ last primary.
I think their were alot of people who DID NOT want Mitt Romney, so it was anybody but Mitt day, as for the ballot there was Santorum, Cain, Bachmann, and even Pawlenty and of course Paul. Paul was second from the bottom, under that was NO PREFERENCE, which I like because Pawlenty was on top and Santorum and Mitt stuck in the middle.
I notice that all the Paul supporters from 2008 didn't get there new voting location - it was changed this year. So if you voted in the Caucus they delayed telling you about the new location. I will probably get mine in the mail tomorrwow :)
So their were Paul supporters being sent to different locations because they did not know of the change and were not sent an update.
I know that I helped at least 10 - 12 Paul supporters that did not know about the Caucus in March. These are people that will come, they promised to be there.
I would be interested to know how the other Ron Paul supporters day went around Springfield.
