A Message to Blue Republicans

Please stop asking us to change our free-market economic views in order to “unite” on the issue of opposing the war. We are fundamentally opposed to the ideas of Progressivism, just as equally as we are opposed to Neo-Conservatism. We are for smaller, less intrusive government. Progressives and Neo-Cons are not.

The wars and the economy aren't two separate issues, they're the same issue. Despite what you've been taught in school, wars are fought for economic reasons. Even if we stop the wars, without changing the monetary system the central bankers are still in power. The bankers are the ones who start these wars and then loan money to both sides, and the only way to stop them is to cut off their funds by taking away their ability to print money. Printing money means governments can spend near-unlimited amounts on guns and bombs. A stable money supply means our government can no longer finance endless war.

The American Empire is not just based on our military, it's based also on our petro-dollars. In the international market, all oil must be sold for US dollars. This keeps our dollar in demand, and the dollar is now our chief export. Whenever an oil-producing country tries to sell oil in something other than dollars (Iraq, Iran, Libya) the bankers have their MSM puppets drum up public support for war and then send in our military to "spread freedom". In this way, the Federal Reserve preserves its monopoly as the sole provider of the world's reserve currency. So you see, the monetary issue and the war issue are inseparable.

As for the Progressive platforms of government spending and welfare...

Government spending is a scam designed to increase poverty and concentrate wealth at the very top. Think of it. Anything that the government spends money on is BY DEFINITION less-than-optimally-productive, because if it WAS productive, people would already be spending money on it without anyone forcing them to. Because of this, value is LOST that otherwise would have been gained had that money been spent by the person who was most affected by the outcome. People who spend their OWN money tend to spend it more wisely than unaccountable bureaucrats who spend OTHER people's money. While free-market competition results in lower prices and higher quality, government spending decreases competition, because companies can just lobby (bribe) the government to get contracts, subsidies, tax loopholes, targeted regulations and other special privileges that put honest competitors out of business. Less competition means higher prices and lower quality. (Think of $50 hospital band-aids and $200 college textbooks.) Doing this on a national scale raises prices and lowers the standard of living for everyone, especially hurting the poor.

Welfare is another scam designed to INCREASE poverty, not reduce it. Welfare has all the negative effects of other government spending, with the added benefit of undermining the socially healing act of charity. People who are taxed are more resentful of the poor who used government to steal from them, where if they had been allowed to give that money freely their love of and concern for the poor could have increased. And those who collect welfare, instead of appreciating what the government gives them, would EXPECT and DEMAND that money, believing they DESERVE it, even though it was money that was forcibly taken from another person. This justifies theft and teaches the poor that robbery is okay as long as you're robbing someone you don't like.

So now the poor, having their standard of living lowered by wasteful spending, and their morals bankrupted by government-sanctioned theft, feel they have have the moral justification to riot and loot and hurt other people, should the need arise. When the dollar finally crashes, and it will if nothing is changed, there will be rioting the likes of which we've never seen before.

So-called liberals see the evil of warfare. So-called conservatives see the evil of welfare. Only Ron Paul sees that BOTH are evil, BOTH hurt the poor, and BOTH have the same root cause: private control of the world's reserve currency. If you still don't understand this, please go to YouTube and watch the documentary “The Money Masters”. It should explain everything.

Thomas Jefferson said:

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

If you want to vote for Paul because of the war issue, great. But don't expect Paul to make a coalition with people who want to end war, yet still allow the warmongering globalist bankers to stay in control.

.

The German president (Koehler) had to resign, because he said that military actions are for economic reasons.
The truth.

Fabulous Post

As coherent, thorough, and understandable explanation of the evils of the welfare/warfare state I have ever heard. Bravo.

Thanks :)

It's hard not to get buried on this site :P

I've asked

for some sound economic reasoning behind these progressives' push for their socialized taxing and spending desires.
None of them could ever give any answer other than, "Well, that's what we want".

I LOL'd!
