that one of the black robed priests of the state cannot grasp that our "old" constitution restrains the STATE, it does not "safeguard" our rights or give us rights. The granting of rights via constitution (the state) is what this old commie so admires in S. Africa. These commies love an "independent judiciary" that the people can't get rid of and who unconstitutionally make social engineering laws, granting some people rights by stripping rights from others. What Ron Paul is Fighting For
..I said earlier today that we are seeing a rash of anti-Constitution media from those who would like to have a Constitution Convention and scrap it.
...time IS running out, folks. This is serious. Now our Supreme Court judges are showing their stripes...telling other countries what their Constitutions should be like. I thought they served the US.
Posted earlier was this article from today's WSJ saying the Constitution is antiquated because the Bill of Rights does not include entitlements and it even spells them out, ie right to food, education, and healthcare.
I'd agree if it mean the right to food that is organically grown, not GMO, education that is not revised history and social engineering and the kind of healthcare that is in the hands of the people not the pharmaceuticals. Sadly, that is not what it means.
Further the WSJ article says other countries seldom use our Constitution as the framework for theirs. Duh. Course not as we do regime change and call bringing in CIA/Mossad and paid thugs to install "democracy."

They make similar claims, but then, at the end, it says that if your rights interfere with the public good then they are null and void.
So basically, you have all the rights in the world until you actually try to use them. Then you have none.
