Maine is crucial for this Campaign

Hello Fellow Patriots!

Maine is the next very important state with this week long election. Does anyone have any updates as it relates to what turnout is looking like in the North East state? Is there anyway to track the votes as their cast throughout the week or do we have to wait until Saturday night? I am hoping and praying for an honest election and hopefully Paul can get his first win. I agree with others that he is in desperate need of a win in Maine to give his campaign more momentum but a solid second place finish would at least keep him afloat until Super Tuesday. Keep fighting the good fight!

Bump for Maine...

since this will be Ron Paul's first victory!

"Criticizing Ron Paul for not passing bills in Congress is like criticizing a nun in a whore house for not turning tricks. He was there to stop the "whoring," not become one!" ~ Blake Buffington

Romney won maine last cycle

with 50%. Dr.Paul had 18%. We have to make people understand that they MUST get out an vote.
The main strategy is delegates but getting a second for first would sway more sheep, bring in more donations and such. We need people ready for the long haul to become delegates.

Please people, arrange to pick others up. Bang on those doors and wake people up.. Interrupt their dinners.. Shame them if you have to. lol

Just get them THERE.

Delegates win.. Here's how.

Paul supporters dominate Westbrook's GOP caucus
Party leaders say the contest for Maine's delegates appears to be between Mitt Romney and Ron Paul.

"Westbrook's meeting began with speeches on behalf of Romney, Gingrich and Paul. No one spoke on behalf of Santorum."

There needs to be a riot if Santorum beats or comes remotely close to Ron Paul in ME.

Paul's Biggest Test In Maine Will Be Romney

And since its a caucus state we have hopes to obtain many more delegates. With Paul hitting the state and Romney doing things elsewhere Paul is most likely to win. A wild card is this false surge of Santorum and will Maine voters believe that Santorum can keep going and switch votes to him? Based on New Hampshire I say he will finish last; Gingrich 3rd.

If Paul's main competitor in ME is Romney...

...and Romney supporters are driven primarily by the idea that he's stable and electable, then the crushing Romney failure last night should actually hurt Romney in ME, and therefore benefit Paul. Disaffected Romney voters IMO are more likely to go to Paul than to Santorum or Gingrich: I think there's more overlap between Paul and Romney voters than between Romney and Santorum/Gingrich voters.

The data from last night bear this out. In counties where Romney did well, Paul did well, and vice versa. In counties where Romney did poorly, Paul did poorly, and vice versa.

And in general, a disaffected Romney supporter is more likely to go to Paul simply because Paul has been (and is?) in ME more than any other candidate.

Paul has a great chance to

Paul has a great chance to win Maine from the look of it. During the 2 days he campaigned there he attracted more than 5000 people (yes I now there are some people who drove from out of state but still...). That's almost equal to what the total voters in Maine was in 2008. There are recent articles coming out in a the last few days about Maine saying that it is down to Romney vs Paul, just google for them.

"The true Patriot will repeal the Patriot Act..." - Ron Paul.

Yeah, any news from Maine?

That all sounds great....I'm

That all sounds great....I'm just a little hesitant because of what occurred in Nevada. I actually called the Nevada Headquarters and asked some questions about what delayed the vote count; the lady told me that it was delayed because of the Ron Paul supporters....a reply I found odd but she wouldn't really expand beyond that. Does anyone live in Maine that can provide more feedback for how it is looking there?
