My Letter To The GOP
Submitted by Mr. Raceboy on Wed, 02/08/2012 - 05:05Getting fed up with the primary system, today I wrote this letter to the GOP (info@gop.com) and I encourage others to do the same to let them know that if it isn't Ron Paul it's going to be Obama and that we cannot be bought off:
To anyone with any functioning brain cells left in the GOP,
I felt compelled to write on the remote chance anyone in the GOP has any brain cells left. Watching the news each day, the evidence would suggest I am wasting my time, but I have to give it a shot just in case.
This year we face a pivotal election in this nation's history. That gets said almost every election cycle, but this time it actually means something with one of the worst Presidents in history in office following one of the other worst Presidents in history having dug our nation a hole we can no longer see out of. We will have a projected $16.5T in debt by election time. We have our military spread out around the world on nearly 900 bases. We have a military budget more than the rest of the world combined and 10X what China spends. We have our military bogged down in multiple unwinnable conflicts all over the world including the longest war in our history creating new enemies that want to harm us every day and we are beating the war drums to enter into even more conflicts. We have entitlements so out of control there is $100T in unfunded liabilities or over $1M per taxpayer! And we have a government that doesn't understand it doesn't grant us our rights, but that it can only protect or deny them so it chooses the latter through instruments like the Patriot Act and the NDAA, both of which gut the Bill Of Rights.
All of these things combined and many I have left out in the interest of time, have finally forced a sizable portion of the electorate to wake up to the fact the current system is completely rigged. Year after year the voters are presented with the false choice offered by the two party system when in fact there really is only one party, the Big Government Party. So far this election cycle is no different with a big government Republican being paraded out as the "conservative" front-running alternative to Obama when the reality is there is no difference. Newsflash dummies, too many people are awake to the scam!
There is only one real choice for true conservatives and you know who that is. There is only one real choice that wants to do anything about out of control spending and the destruction of our currency. There is only one candidate who really cares about our defense and doesn't want to leave us broke to where we can't defend ourselves. There is only one candidate that understands the nature of rights and what the legitimate role of government is. There is only one candidate who believes his job is to serve and protect the Constitution and the people instead of the bankers, corporations, and other special interests. There is only one candidate that understands history and the road to destruction our nation is currently barreling down. That man is Ron Paul.
Here is what you just don't seem to be able to comprehend. Ron Paul voters do not care about the Republican Party. We care about principles only. What letter a candidate has in front of their names makes no difference to us. The rest of the field is, for all intents and purposes, the same thing in different packages. This being the case, there is no way any of us will vote for any other candidate other than Ron Paul. If it isn't Ron Paul, we couldn't care less whether it's Romney or Obama. We just don't care because we know it doesn't matter and we aren't party cheer leader simpletons.
That leaves the GOP with quite a conundrum. There is nothing you can do to buy us off and without us, you cannot win. So you have to ask yourselves whether you have become so lost in your ways as a party that you would rather have 4 more years of Obama vs Ron Paul? The reality is, that's your only choice and that will be the outcome if Ron Paul is not the nominee. Ron Paul is the only one who can beat Obama in a national election because if he isn't the nominee, his voters stay home. Hell, we may even vote Obama just to punish the GOP and I'm currently working on starting a grass roots campaign to do just that.
Part of me thinks all of this falls on deaf ears because it's all a scam, just political theater, and you really don't care who wins because behind closed doors it's all one big family so you win no matter what. On the off chance that isn't the case, you have a real choice to make. Are you really willing to cut off your noses to spite your faces? Are you really willing to ignore the near 20% of Republican voters who are awake to the scam and won't be participating in their own self-destruction any longer? Do you really have no integrity left?
All I can do is hope this letter isn't being taken lightly because if winning the election for the Republican party truly matters, you need to realize you don't hold any of the cards, we do. So what are you going to do? The choice is yours because we have already made up our minds.
Ron Paul or Obama 2012, it's up to you.

Thank you sir!
I think we should start a letter writing campaign to the GOP. What will they do if they tens of thousands of letters just like that?
We already see Romney trying to kiss Paul's backside. Let's keep pushing in that direction.
