Ron Paul Campaign Statement: There was no voter fraud in Nevada"

According to Ben Swann, there was no voter fraud in Nevada:

Ben: "Talked directly to the head of the Paul campaign in Nevada. Carl Bunce tells me that so far, there is no apparent voter fraud in Nevada. Bunce says

"Yes we had the numbers to win easily around 23,000+ ID'd, but Dr. Paul supporters did not show up. I have people I consider good friends that said they just did not make it....we got 3rd because we did not Turn-out."

Part of the reason for the low turnout could also be the lack of understanding of the caucus process... i'll explain the mess in Nevada and why the delegate process may be very bad for Rick Santorum and very good for Ron Paul tonight."

Can we lay this issue to rest, please?

This is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!

Ron Paul opens up all these people's minds to the idea of liberty and the constitution, he is one of less than a handful of congressman who are trying their utmost to protect their civil liberties, he has literally put his life on the line with this message of truth and he is 76 YEARS OLD campaigning for the presidency (and not for himself, but for every single American). Ron Paul has done so much and so selflessly and yet people can't even go out to make the vote to help him win???

Do they need to be baby fed all the way up to the caucus?

All we needed was a measly 70% of those who were ID'd in order to win Nevada and we only got 25%!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Ron Paul won Nevada, i can guarantee you it would have set the ball rolling in Minnesota (maybe win), Colorado (strong position) and Maine (win) and this would have had huge advantages going into Arizona, Michigan and Washington (win) and that would have perfectly set us up for Super Tuesday with at least 3 (maybe 4) victories. And from Super Tuesday, who knows how good everything could look from there, especially with him poised to do incredibly well in a few states already.

Anyone who didn't vote deserves a smack in the back of the head.

This is not a joke anymore. If Ron Paul loses, war is guaranteed, a police state is guaranteed, drowning in debt is guaranteed, fascism is guaranteed - everyone loses. Nevada was critical for this campaign and 75% of Paul supporters in Nevada let Ron Paul down.

Voter Fraud

Anytime the 'party' is responsible for the count, there is possibility of fraud. At least when there is one man one vote run by the government, you have people who do the counting that are elected officials and can be held more accountable, such as in NH. Not saying there isn't fraud there either, but this party caucus business is just too aribitrary, like not counting the votes for a stretched out caucus in Maine for example..

Yup- no voter fraud

but there was enough election fraud to give Casey Anthony a win.

I am more inclined to believe

that Paul's campaign issued that statement for the soul purpose of moving on simply because they can not prove there was fraud so its a waste of time for them. I believe without a doubt from the circumstantial evidence i have seen and witnessed that there was indeed fraud against Paul in Nevada!
I will go on to say as corrupt as the GOP is there has more than likely been fraud in every state so far....you seriously think these scoundrels are playing fair?
Don't make me laugh.....

As I've stated..

In previous postings. Unless Dr. Paul starts asking for their vote, asking them to make sure they come out to vote, personally asking them for their help, we will always come up just a tad short at the polls. You can not make the sale, unless you ask for it. IMHO only

Agreed

He should be urging people at these rallies to get out the vote and become delegates. If he could win by large enough numbers it makes it harder for the GOP to cheat...like they did in Nevada.....

An excellent site who stays on top of things on a daily basis...

is Bev Harris's site @ WWW.BLACKBOXVOTING.COM She or a colleague will go to the various places which are crying foul (election fraud). Her site has been up and running for at least a decade.

What is interesting to me?

Every place that had media attention that I saw, Ron Paul won. So please explain those to me. Pretty interesting that he does not win the rest.

MITT ROMNEY: STILL UN-ELECTABLE
I will be out of town the week of May 21st.

Ron Paul himself should be

Ron Paul himself should strongly emphasize that people get out and vote no matter what it takes. He should be mentioning this instance at every rally.

Then again, the campaign could know all about the apparent fraud and just wanna play along with it while we 'secretly' rack up delegates. Maybe there is just nothing we can do about the popular vote because it will always be fraudulent and the Paul campaign knows this.

Where to check Iowa precinct results?

Does anyone know where or with whom I can check the results of a precinct in Iowa? I volunteered there before the caucus and observed at one precinct, but when I tried calling in to report the results to the number I'd been given for the RP Iowa campaign, it was first busy that night and the following day when I tried again, and then later when I called it had been disconnected. I'd still like to go back and check whether the tallies I took that night match up with what was officially reported.

Also, can anyone recommend a good site with a balanced, factual account of the evidence for fraud in various states (Iowa, Nevada, Maine)? There's nothing more frustrating than to have these rumors going around when they seem credible but lack thorough substantiation.

For instance, I've heard that there were exit polls in Iowa showing Ron Paul winning. Certainly the supporters I spoke with before the vote were expecting him to do better, partly because polls of "likely GOP voters" were more likely to exclude crossover independent and Democrat voters supporting Ron Paul. Then there's this story on this page of a "hacktivist" guy (who? name?) posing as an RP supporter and convincing GOP officials to hold the vote count at a secret location, despite his being arrested(?) for protesting *against* Paul. But I was also told that the campaign knew about the secure vote location and would have representatives there monitoring the count. How much of this is true? Of course we all know about the screw-up(?) that had Iowa officials first declaring Romney the victor and then later saying it was actually Santorum.

I've heard that there were many precincts in Clark County, Nevada, where votes were not counted (why not?), and that Ron Paul was expected to win, based on his victory in one precinct that was filmed by the media due to voting taking place at an unusual time for Jews who couldn't vote on the regular caucus day due to it falling on the Sabbath or something. Given Paul's lack of pandering on support for Israel, it does seem logical that if he can win among a group of observant Jews, that he should have done as well or better among other voters in that county. How much of this is true?

And now this story about the vote in Washington County, Maine, being cancelled due to mostly non-existent snow, when Ron Paul was expected to win enough votes there to give him a victory in the state. True? If so, where are the polling numbers or other data to back this up?

It does seem to me that there are just way too many suspicious happenings for it to all be on the up-and-up, but spreading stories of fraud without having solid evidence may not help us, even if there really was fraud. That of course is the dilemma.

Did you happen to find the iowa precinct tallies?

I've been looking for weeks to compare them to a caucus I observed, but I can't find tally results ANYWHERE.

Example of orchestrated infighting.

But according to the + votes in relation to age of post it’s a failure.

BULL SHIT

I'm tired of the campaign telling us to back down.

I'm tired of the campaign telling us to not trust our instincts.

Before Iowa voted, MANY supporters here on the DP were talking and formulating plans to closely watch the voting sites to prevent fraud. Days before Iowa voted, the campaign released a statement saying to not worry about that, things were being handled.

Despite Paul's awesome polling numbers before Iowa voted, he ended up with third place and NUMEROUS reports that something fishy was going on in Iowa.

Why do I get the feeling the campaign KNOWS fraud is going on, but is deliberately dissuading us?

Does it makes Paul's campaign look bad in front of the MSM to speculate on voter fraud?

Has the campaign been hijacked?

Something Rotten in Iowa? The "Hacktivist Threat" Timeline

Read this article from two days before the Iowa caucuses
http://www.theendrun.com/something-rotten-in-iowa-the-hackti...

The media and Iowa GOP revived an extremely dubious six+ week old supposed "hacker threat" and reported it as breaking news as soon as Ron moved into first place (literally the same day)

Then the same guy who uploaded the "hacker threat" video started provocateuring at the offices of candidates (although the media never made the connection). They then used all of this as an excuse to move the counting to a secretly location.

Meanwhile, the guy was bizarrely posing as a Paul supporter, even as he was getting arrested protesting Ron Paul.

You just gotta read the article. They basically had all of their bases covered going into Iowa. They had an excuse to say that Paul supporters "hacked" it if we won, and they also had a cover story in case they got caught tampering with things themselves.

To all those doubting that

To all those doubting that fraud took place: RE THINK THAT NOW.

Read this article, watch the video, and spread like wildfire.

Turns out, AP accidentally printed a story titled
"Romney Wins Nevada in Quiet Caucus" TWO DAYS BEFORE THE CAUCUS TOOK PLACE.

The caucus was certainly not quiet. And it wasn't written in innocent anticipation because how could they have known for certain it would be Romney?? Paul was positioned to make it a battle if not landslide.

Good Find!

.

That's not fraud. That is

That's not fraud. That is just news media assuming something and printing early. Happened others times in history where newspapers assumed who the winner was and issued the paper to find out someone else won.

Dewey Wins!

1948. Harry Truman became our President.

they mean: no solid evidence of voter fraud

they mean: no solid evidence of voter fraud.

that's a big difference from "no voter fraud"

Keep in mind that Bunce's comment was an early one compared to

hat the campaign is telling callers now..

So none of us know for sure what is going on but it's not time for us to "put it to rest" just yet.

Pros and Cons of having the "youth vote"

Yeah, they've got energy, but they rarely actually vote. Tweet to occupy something, sure they'll be there in an instant because it's a cool anti establishment thing to do that might get them on the 10 o'clock news or will give them a cool status on Facebook. "Occupying the Parking Lot on 10th street, y'all! Why? Dunno, but let's OCCUPY!"

"Voted today at my precinct" isn't as sexy of a Facebook status or Tweet.

Young people only really organized politically and got shit done when their YouTube, chans, and P2P pirating sites were threatened with SOPA, and even then all they had to do was go to another website and fill out a form letter to yell at their representatives. If they had to get up and vote at a poll, we'd probably have a censored Internet right now.

We seem to have skipped over this present stance of the Campaign

I've spoken with the campaign twice now in the last few days about Nevada. Call them up and ask about Nevada.

Headquarters Phone (Toll-Free): 1-855-886-9779

They have a legal team checking into it and weighing options.

I'm not sure why Bunce said that other than that was a quick statement.

Edit: The second call was made today BTW and I got the same answer.

I suggest doubters and people who are holding up Bunce's statements, call for themselves.

"They have a legal team

"They have a legal team checking into it and weighing options." does not equal vote fraud. Maybe after they check into it there is nothing wroong.

Bunce saying there is no APPARENT

voter fraud does not mean there was no voter fraud. You want your cake and eat it too. Why are you sooooo sure there was no voter fraud? I will bet when you watch the video of bldg 7 collapse and believe a small fire from damage on one side caused the building caused it to implode. Dr Paul routinely draws ten to twenty times as many people to his rallys than other canidates do. every precinct that was televised showed Dr Paul winning by a large margin. Whenever there is scrutiny Dr. Paul wins. And yet, instead of believing your eyes, you just have to take the establishments answer as gospel. Wake up

Yes after they do.

So how about we stop calling for it to end before they've done that like you're giving the definitive answer.

Let the campaign do that instead.
