My Numbers Of The Nevada Caucus-need Your Help
Submitted by pistei on Wed, 02/08/2012 - 18:08Well, it’s taken me days to post these little numbers in the little boxes. The data is from twitter. I have copied and pasted twitter’s results to Microsoft word and then entered it into excel. On the excel spreadsheet is only Clark county, which I think is the problem county. I have some of the other counties, but I’m not sure since I haven’t looked to see how much. Twitter will roll of tweets and if I didn’t copy it soon enough, I would have missed some of the other counties.
Statisticians, I need your brains. Please look at this and see if there’s something fishy. My brain is fried, and I have pinched nerves in my shoulders with typing for all these days.
So now, it’s your turn.
I have no idea how to upload the excel spreadsheet. Any suggestions?

First, if you're collecting the twitter data by precinct, be sure you record both the county code and the precinct number. The precinct number alone is not unique (which is the reason one person is claiming "proof" of fraud -- different numbers from two precincts with the same number, but in different counties). Also be sure you check the code for the type of report -- some are only test data, some are corrections, etc.
For the file, there are a number of places you can store a document to let others retrieve it. Google docs (http://docs.google.com) is the one I've used. There are a lot of free ones around, but I've never used any of them, and I read somewhere that a lot are shutting down in response to recent prosecutions. I don't know if this is helpful but here's a list:

If you missed some of the tweets you should be able to download all of them. Here:

if you scroll enough, but I'll bet there's another service somewhere that would grab all of them for you.
thanks
got all the info on polling places and everything in your first paragraph.
maybe a torrent? to be used through utorrent?
torrent could work
But you're limiting the number of people who can access it. I've never used torrents and probably wouldn't set up a client for something like this. The advantage to a file sharing service is that anyone can get to the file if they have the URL.
