What if the Romney camp decides to bribe some delegates?

Don't say it's farfetched. I've studied politics in-depth since the Nixon era, and these things can get NASTY.

It would be beyond naive to pretend things like this didn't happen.

What would a few million be to an anonymous Romney donor lining some crucial delegates' pockets?

Should get something "out there" about rumors of bribery attempts. Even if not true.

I hope the Paul campaign has plans for a crew of lawyers at the convention as well. Decisions will need to be made quickly.

We all know how the Bush/Gore thing turned out. Bush was smart and stayed on offense while Gore "trusted" the system.

You know they are giving delegates free Mariott stays and meals.

Then the ones who disagree they will just ignore protests/points brought during the convention and count the numbers wrong.

THEN, they'll all gather and watch the CSPAN reruns at later meetings and giggle--there's even a youtube showing this.

AKA, it will be just like 2008 most likely.

That is unless YOU--yes YOU personally--mobilize to throw out all of these corrupt chairman and take the mantle of responsibility.

Manipulation of the vote is going on right now . Iowa was the first detection of it . Nevada , where Romney was said to had won is still in question . All of Nevada but Clark country was counted and had their results in 2 hours after the polls closed . But Clark country , where 60% of the population lives had Paul way ahead of Romney , but after 2 re-counts where Paul was still the clear winner , the final re-count went behind closed door woth the Nevada GOP in attendence . The Result , Romney wins ? Wake Up Folks .

But seriously, dirty tricks happen when you play a game with dirty tricksters. I'd expect Newt to try this before Romney, but if it comes down to Paul/Romney, don't think it won't happen.

Ron Paul would destroy Obama in a debate , While Romney and Obama share the same views but just differently wrapped , Ron Paul has his numbers down and a teleprompter isn't needed .

I will take the money and still vote for RP, Just turn around and donate it to a superpac or pay my bills with it!

Hopefully they don't catch on and pay me after I vote, then I wouldn't get anything :(

Bribery in politics is NEVER farfetched! I would argue that most people on the libertarian side of the aisle tend to be naive about it all. They see things in terms of "agendas" instead of "payola." Most people in politics are petty crooks.
