Lew is right
Gingrich does love the police state and would be more dangerous than Obama because "all the unthinking Republicans would be backing him just because he has an R after his name." I wish there was a way to find the Fox news clip from 3 or 4 years ago when Newt was praising the smart card national ID. I remeber it like it was yeaterday just because of the unbelievable smug look Newt had on his face when he suggested that there would be little resistance to the card because people who refused it would have to wait in the long line at the airport.

Lew has redeemed himself in the last decade but his obvious and clear connection to the newsletters (either as writer or editor) would make him a disastrous choice.

What the GOP simply has not addressed seriously is that should they pull more hanky panky with Ron Paul they, the GOP can kiss the election goodbye. The GOP simply is in denial the power of the Ron Paul People. I suggest that they, the neo cons, give their full support to President Paul.
The GOP is a lot like the many churches in America which are seeking new people to come to church but find it very, very hard to get the kinds of crowds in who support this current Liberty Movement with Ron Paul. In other words, the GOP people are older and dying off just like the churches are experiencing. The GOP is like a religion which has failed their people.
