Met Sarah Palin's Parents Today - We talked Ron Paul!

Long time follower, first time poster.

So a little back story: I work at a print shop in Palmer, Alaska - the town next to Wasilla, and today Sarah Palin's parents came in.

I was having a decent conversation about gold/gold panning with Mr. Heath (her dad) - he's a super nice guy, and was a good substitute teacher (he remembered me from high school!)

Long story short, I came up privately to them and sincerely thanked Sarah for being so nice to Dr. Paul on TV - they assured me they'd let her know my kind words and they agreed that the GOP/media should take him more seriously, but told me that she's NOT PLANNING TO ENDORSE ANYONE. So don't waste your time emailing her...

Let me know if you guys have any questions! It was pretty exciting and they were really receptive to a young Republicans viewpoint!

I've met Sarah and I went to school with Bristol, and I see her parents once in a while, so it's not quite as exciting to me as it may be to you guys - just thought I'd share!

Hah, I just said in my original post that it's probably not worth emailing considering her parents just told me she plans to remain neutral during the primaries.

According to Mr. Heath, Sarah's dad - he goes on an expedition that costs him $3000, but with guaranteed gold... but the nuggets he was making pictures of were AMAZINGINGLY HUGE!

It just depends on who you know, "real" gold panning isn't really readily available to tourists. (The tourism gold panning is just very small flakes from what I've seen)
