Iran Worried US Might be Building 8,500th Nuclear Weapon [ONION]

TEHRAN—Amidst mounting geopolitical tensions, Iranian officials said Wednesday they were increasingly concerned about the United States of America's uranium-enrichment program, fearing the Western nation may soon be capable of producing its 8,500th nuclear weapon. "Our intelligence estimates indicate that, if it is allowed to progress with its aggressive nuclear program, the United States may soon possess its 8,500th atomic weapon capable of reaching Iran," said Iranian foreign minister Ali Akbar Salehi, adding that Americans have the fuel, the facilities, and "everything they need" to manufacture even more weapons-grade fissile material. "Obviously, the prospect of this happening is very distressing to Iran and all countries like Iran. After all, the United States is a volatile nation that's proven it needs little provocation to attack anyone anywhere in the world whom it perceives to be a threat." Iranian intelligence experts also warned of the very real, and very frightening, possibility of the U.S. providing weapons and resources to a rogue third-party state such as Israel.

Yes, The USA is the only country to have done so. Not only that, but it specifically chose to target the center of cities with concentrated populations of civilians rather than any military targets, installations, bases, or ports. Specifically targetting civilian population centers with weapons of mass destruction is something the US government defines as terrorism.

However that is OK because America is awesome, and therefore allowed to commit acts that are terrorism if done by others. It is called American exceptionalism and allows America to embrace evil for "good" purposes. That makes it the good evil. Embrace evil for the good of America. Targetting populated cities for annihilation with weapons of mass destruction may be evil but it is a good evil when America does it. Its quite clear.

around 200 thousand died on first day of bombing and many 100s k died in following years and decades.

I do not know if anyone ever paused and imagined the scale of that atrocity, but who cares, we are the great nation, moral nation, righteous nation and we always are on good side.. right?

Actually at the height of Cold War it was about 10-15k with the soviets having about double that, although ours were more powerful. Since testban treaties etc, we have gone down by a few. I mean come on though, even 8500 is enough to destroy every major city on the planet and screw over life on the planet.
