Who needs NeoCons when the supposed "bleeding heart" & supposedly "self-enlightened" liberals respond this way, pushpoll or not.
Truly sickening. Frankly, I believe these numbers actually show much more bloodlust amongst liberals than NeoCons, even at the height of GWB regime!
One good news, at least for the more honest critical thinkers regardless of political stripes can now clearly see the distinction between Dr. Paul, vs. Obama, Romney, Gingrich and Santorum:
One, a Man of Virtue, Integrity, Peace, Commerce, Intelligence, and all around Champion of the Constitution, vs. a Gang of Thieves & Murderous Thugs Writ Large!

The sharpest edges of President Obama’s counterterrorism policy, including the use of drone aircraft to kill suspected terrorists abroad and keeping open the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, have broad public support, including from the left wing of the Democratic Party.
A new Washington Post-ABC News poll shows that Obama, who campaigned on a pledge to close the brig in Cuba and to change national security policies he criticized as inconsistent with U.S. law and values, has little to fear politically for failing to live up to all of those promises.
The findings also highlight the quandary for Mitt Romney and other Republican candidates, who have portrayed Obama as weak abroad and politically motivated in moving to end America’s two long wars...

The only real difference between libs and neocons are what they use as a guiding star/guise. Libs traditionally use 'equality' while neocons prefer 'morality'.
Besides that and a few pretend disagreements over trivial issues, they're one and the same. Both movements are socially conservative, just in different ways, and both are quite obviously fiscally liberal. Both are deeply statist and, as this topic points out, love using violence at every opportunity to get what they want. Both movements are rooted in Progressivism as well.

Obama is 10x more dangerous to personal liberties
than Bush ever was. Like Ron Paul said on multiple occasions, Obama NEUTRALIZES the anti-war left that so vehemently opposed Bush's policies.
With Obama, it has become crystal clear that the opposition to Bush by the left on foreign policy had no moral or "humanitarian" motivation, it was all political. As long as the guy in office is a "D", it's ok with them. They're even more more sheepish than the neocons!

obviously all polls are push polls, but still... this just doesn't bode well.
as cautiously optimistic as I am about our entire journey, in the long run, at least for the foreseeable future, such response in my nano-seconds of knee-jerk nihilism, as history have usually told us, no society descending into utter decadence, decay and corruption voluntarily save itself, from itself.
I sometimes think, in such moments, like any junkie we should perhaps let the junkie crash, all the way, and frankly get the F out of the way, so we can have a quick abrupt collapse before building back up. And, we should allow Dr. Paul to enjoy his days with his lovely wife Carol, amongst giggles and laughter of their numerous grandkids and great grandkids, instead of being in a position of possibly being blamed for all this crap already set in motion, even WHEN he becomes the POTUS.
Then again, it seems that the reality of current path, quick collapse and recovery or not, the

Though I must fight the inclination to dismay, especially in the light of the degradation rampant amongst our cities and structures of governance. There are days when I just ask GOD to make it back today because my hope is dimmed by the barrage of law, regulation, and impedance foisted upon us by men who neither serve us nor have capacity too.
Ron Paul is a precious jewel in a field of manure, a ray of light at darkest midnight, hope in a pit of dispare. He's carried the torch of truth, freedom and liberty and his message soothes the wounding in my need for elbow space in a land once free. I'm all in for Ron Paul, but hold little faith in this nations worthiness to exist should his bid and message not emerge victorious. I'm free because I refuse to be enslaved or to enslave. What to others might seem to indicate my compliance, is nothing more than doing what is right in my relationship to my creator and is not based upon the rule of man. In other words I do not stand under man, nor over, it is enough to stand.
