Question about voting in PA

I just registered to vote back over the holidays. I am on domestic assignment in Maryland but am registered to vote in PA. Do I have to vote in my home district or can I vote in any district I want? It would be much easier to cross the border and vote then drive up to Pittsburg :). Cheers!

I believe you have two Options:

First, thanks for registering!

#1 You have to vote at your local precinct. Your voter registration card should give you this info. OR
#2 Vote via absentee ballot. I'm less knowledgable about this, but I found a good link here. http://www.longdistancevoter.org/pennsylvania#.TzRqF1FvmPB

Also, It's important to know that the PA primary election has both a presidential preference poll (i.e. non binding straw poll) and a delegate election. Basically, the voters in each district vote for three delegates to go to Tampa. In PA, the delegates are non binding and are not directly linked to the presidential candidate, so you won't know if they are pro-ron by simply looking at the ballot. So its important to know ahead of time which three delegates are pro-ron in your congressional district. Since petitioning is still going on, it will be a little while longer until we know who will be on the ballot. In the meantime, I would suggest joining a Ron Paul meetup group within the congressional district you are registered in, they will be able to tell you which three delegates to vote for. Hope this helps.
