They actually restrict a right guaranteed by the constitution. Although the constitution doesnt mention drugs so that should be left to the states anyway.

when the Doc becomes POTUS, he can de facto eliminate them by defunding DEA, DHS/TSA, DNI, ATF, IRS, parts of NSA/CIA/FBI (though he may end up actually shifting some over to FBI as he'll have A LOT of investigations on his hands going after govt thieves and murderers for so many past crimes), and FIRE THEM ALL, and put a hiring freeze, or 'prolong' rehiring periods indefinitely by simply telling off Congrss: 'I'm having hard time finding the right people for those jobs.'

any and all offices under the Executive Branch, & how they all function within it, a President Paul will be the King Honcho and get to do as he pleases!

at least demonstrated the respect the Constitution wielded 100 years ago. 100 years ago we knew we had to amend the Constitution in order to outlaw alcohol.

By the time we came to outlawing drugs, however, our respect for the Constitution had diminished to the point where we felt no need to pass an amendment.

A poignant insight, and the kind of Constitutional issue that a good debate moderator would force candidates to address.
