Let me put it this way: "controlling inflation" is just another way of saying, our charter is to rob you slowly, i.e., in a "controlled manner" so you don't realize we are robbing you. Put yet another way, if you are a frog swimming in a kettle, we will turn up the heat a degree at a time so you will boil to death and not even know we have issued for you a brutal death sentence. Swim, swim, my green beady-eyed friends! Enjoy yourselves!
Protecting the banking system is semantic deception for "bailout."
This isn't complicated, folks. This is very, very simple stuff.
