So which State is Ron going to win first ?

While listening to Ron with Neil Cavuto he let the secret out of the bag about the Delegates but did say that we really need a PR win by taking at least one first place. So my question is does anyone have a good feeling about a first in any state? Also should this become a new strategy? To pull all our resources and focus them on one particular state. Below is the interview I'm referring to where Ron mentions this.

Keep in mind...

...that starting in April, ALL contests are winner-take-all. Therefore, starting then, Ron Paul will have to win many, many states to win the nomination.

Before April, and before Super Tuesday (March 6), it appears that Maine and Washington (March 3) are winnable. And who knows what the momentum from a win in Maine tomorrow and good upcoming debates (three in two weeks starting with February 22) will mean for the next few contests?

Not so

It's much more complicated than "everything after March is winner-take-all".

Texas is April 3rd and is proportional. If Ron gets 20% there he gets 31 delegates. Oregon, New Mexico, South Dakota, Rhode Island, and North Carolina are also proportional. Connecticut, Arkansas, and Kentucky proportionally allocate at least some of their delegates.

Pennsylvania has a quirky system where delegates are directly elected and are not pledged. West Virginia may follow this as well.

Montana and Nebraska choose delegates by convention in June/July. Their primaries are beauty contests.

California, Maryland, Wisconsin, New York, and Indiana award by Congressional district, so Ron could win in heavily Democratic districts in NYC, LA, Madison, Baltimore, or Indianapolis where there are few Republicans and they tend to be more moderate. NY will even award 1 delegate for second place in a district, as long as he gets more than 20%.

I stand corrected

A brokered convention is looking more and more probable:

Thats up to

the supporters, Ron Paul already delivered the message, now we have to deliver the votes. We could win all the rest of the states if people would get out and vote!

"Give me liberty or give me death" Patrick Henry

When it happens

When Dr. Paul wins a state primary or caucus, You will only hear about those that came in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th place.
I also believe that there will be a major "distraction" going on so people's mind will shift to this event.
Hey LOOK...HALEY'S COMET....Probably will be something to do with IRAN. I'm sure they will tell IRAN to go ahead and fire away at Israel...or One of our DESTROYERS/AIRCRAFT CARRIERS in the Persian Gulf.
This would be a really good time to perpetuate a WAR, which would work well to diminish the only "NON-WAR" candidate.

I'm hoping for a win in Maine....

followed by a resounding victory over Romney in Virginia. If we pull that off, the media will have to consider Paul as the frontrunner.

Of course, this will take organization and VOTES! Get it done, Maine and Virginia! We're all pulling for you!

I don't play, I commission the league.

Your title sounds like he'll

Your title sounds like he'll only win one. I'm hoping that he wins Maine and that sets up momentum going forward. Despite delegates, we need to win a lot of states to get the general public support and keep him in the news.

Sorry RedDot

That wasn't the intent of the title :-) It was supposed to be more of a, where is Ron's first of First's going to be?

"I have found that being rich is not about having the most but about needing the least"

So which State is Ron going

So which State is Ron going to win first?

Yes Sir

:0)

"I have found that being rich is not about having the most but about needing the least"

It all boils down to one main mental decision and that is...

Expect to Win and expect it with a good feeling not just empty words. My wife and I say everyday, "I expect Ron Paul to win the State of Maine." And tomorrow, Saturday, we are going to make it happen on our part by voting in our state Caucus...Oh, the weather does not look that good for traveling tomorrow...but we say, "We expect to get there and get home safely and easily."

I expect the voters of Maine to deliver Maine to Ron Paul.

fearless brave joyful peaceful loving grateful, compassionate

Bravo Cheiro

That's an excellent way to live altogether..I can't wait to celebrate with you on here when Ron does win in Maine :-)

"I have found that being rich is not about having the most but about needing the least"

I agree

The power of positve thought is real.

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

I would love to see it this Saturday in Maine.

Keeping my fingers crossed....

It's time! Rand Paul 2016!

"Truth, Justice, and the American Way!"

OHIO

From what I understand. All delegates in place, and even the state Democratic leader supports him. Plus Peyton Hillis, and Tony Pashos of the Browns endorsed him. So OH is representing.

Speaking of athlete endorsements...

I think I read that Texans RB Arian Foster is a Ron Paul supporter. Now, if he could pull off the coveted Tony Romo endorsement... LOL.

I don't play, I commission the league.

Here are the states to watch

Ron did best in 2008 in Idaho, North Dakota, Maine, Montana, Washington, Alaska, and Louisiana - all caucuses at the time except Idaho. Montana is now a primary and Louisiana uses both.

I think the Vermont primary is also one to watch.

Big ground organization in Louisiana

I pray that Gingrich will eff up before Louisiana----which is highly probable.

Oregon was at

15% last year and it could be double that this year... its proportionate!
Heard good things about Idaho as well!!!!

Thanks Valleyforge

I have a friend in Montana who is saying that Ron is really hot there with everyone. I'm putting my money on Maine or Montana. It would really be nice to at least take first in one of the states. Hopefully the voters will get out more than what we have seen so far.

"I have found that being rich is not about having the most but about needing the least"

Hopefully we win earlier than Montana

Montana doesn't vote until June. Washington, Idaho, Alaska, North Dakota and Vermont are all on March 3rd-6th.

Indeed

Earlier and more often :-) After seeing the pictures of the crowds in Maine I'm feeling REALLY good about a sizable win there. Stronger and stronger as each day passes..
