"Anonymous" - claims to have shut down CIA Website

Denial of service attacks? Sh*t is played out. Anonymous, you want credit, actually hack some intel/gov server or transfer line that shows real criminality of intel/gov officials. I believe in more conspirational things that the average person, but Anonymous is getting irritating. I hate wikileaks, I believe it's very controlled and probably an intel front. So, Anonymous, PROVE YOU'RE REAL! ONE HUNDRED-UP WIKILEAKS AND DO SOMETHING WORTHWHILE FOR ONCE! NOT DENIAL OF SERVICE/WEBSITE CRASHES! PROVE INTEL/GOV COMPLICITY IN CRIMINALITY! IT SHOULD BE SIMPLE! All hackers involved with Anonymous aren't intel, but I believe that the main group is intel-owned/operated/controlled.

Ron Paul will win 2012. Get ready for it. :)

I do believe there is a subculture of "Anonymous" and that it is not government of any kind. However, without getting into the "bloodstream" of that subculture myself, I have no way of knowing much about it or whether any given "op" is being done by regular people acting anonymously or by agents of a government (or other power center) acting anonymously.

Anyone can claim the mantle of "Anonymous". It's not a group. There are no members. A lot of people have trouble grasping this concept and it's even harder to fathom all the implications. However, to dismiss it all as COINTELPRO or CIA is almost certainly to miss some of the picture.

Anonymous didn't arise as a hacker collective or an activist movement. Both of those aspects came later.

Anyway, yeah, learn some history before patting yourself on the back for having it all figured out. ;-)

I think this is about SOAP/PIPA. At least Julian A/Wikileaks released some dirt so everyone would know whats going on. These gremlins don't do anything like that. It's highly suspucious.

probably has plants inside of Anonymous - the "movement" is much more then just a False Flag etc. These guys use anonymity..it's a hive and there is no leadership, just ideas.
