The Judge Says Tone It Down...
Submitted by thomast_555 on Sat, 02/11/2012 - 12:09Judge Napalitanos FB status from a few minutes ago...
It will be far more productive for my work at Fox and the work of my friends and colleagues here--many of whom share our values--if the email traffic to Fox toned down considerably. I will continue to voice the message of freedom in many more Fox venues, and you will hear that message, and we will do our best to alert you in advance of those venues and the times that I will be on them; and we will post those alerts right here on this site. PLEASE BE SURE TO WATCH THE FINAL FreedomWatch SHOW ON MONDAY FEBRUARY 13TH, ON FOX BUSINESS AT 8:00 PM, EASTERN TIME. You have been very strong in your views and generous in your comments about the show, but now is the time to relax and lay low and prepare for the future. God bless each of you
(UPDATE 13FEB) Judge says stop the emails all together. They are doing more harm than good. Cancelation has nothing to do with his message.
FB Status earlier today...
Dear Friends--
Many of you are not happy with the cancellation of FreedomWatch, and you have sent emails to my Fox colleagues expressing that unhappiness. In television, shows are cancelled all the time. Two of my former shows have been cancelled, and after each cancellation, Fox has rewarded me with more and better work. This cancellation--along with others that accompanied it--was the result of a business judgment here, and is completely unrelated to the FreedomWatch message. It would make a world of a difference for all of us, if you would KINDLY STOP SENDING EMAILS TO FOX.
I am well. Your values are strong. I will continue to articulate those values here at Fox. But the emails many of you are sending are unfairly interfering with my work and that of my colleagues here. The emails even violate our values because they interfere with the use of private property. I have accepted the cancellation decision with good cheer and a sense of gearing up for the future. You should as well.
As a favor to me, and as I have asked this past weekend, PLEASE STOP SENDING EMAILS TO MY COLLEAGUES AT FOX ABOUT THE CANCELLATION OF FreedomWatch; and please stop NOW.
All the best, apn

The hell with Fox the audience is way too small
We are barking up the wrong tree. The judge is wasting his time at Fox and the audience is miniscule compared to the audience he could get elsewhere. He is wasting his time there and they have done him and us a favor, he just does not realize it yet.
He could have his own show on GCNlive.com
He could anchor for Infowars evening news and start off with a larger audience than he now has.
Write the judge and write infowars and suggest this.....

tone it down?
i am confused why is the judge telling us to tone it down? i wonder if he really wrote that. after everything he has reviled to us that last thing to say is tone it down. this is war this is revolution against a completely corrupt establishment that posses as a democratic government. it is not only going to be loud it is going to be ugly as well. unless maybe congress will admit that it is insane and quit.
You can go look at his
You can go look at his facebook page to see. He doesn't want us making enemies for him at Fox as he will still be on some of the shows. Who knows maybe he have a new show at a better time. If we put a bad face on the movement it makes the work harder for like minded people in the media.

Tone it down
I sent a harsh email to Fox about their poor decision. No profanities at all, however I refered to O'Reilly and Hannity as the Jerry Springers' of Fox and much lower quality compared to the Judge.
I can just imagine the hostility and vulgar content of others. Fox had been stating that his show was low on ratings for quite some time... Duh, Fox put him on the business channel opposte O'Reilly (who should go back to Inside Addition).
If Fox was smart, they would have put the Judge on before O'Reilly or after Hannity on the same channel.
This would have increased ratings on all shows.
Now Now Judge
You know damn good and well we have a difficulty in toning down our passion.
WOULD THE FOUNDERS TONE IT DOWN?
Funny comment from a person who supports the CONSTITUTION.
If we tone it down we will surely lose everything we stand for and we will just clank our chains in harmony like good little slaves.I say tone it UP!
Really!

The very idea. I will now tone it up, thanks
for the motivation!

Wanted to let them know I'm going to miss The Judge, but do so in a light and polite manner. Hope it doesn't come off too corny!
Subject: Do not let The Judge go gentle into that good night!
Just heard recently that FBN is going to be cancelling Judge Napolitano's show. I really hated to hear that. I think the man is a real sage (and I don't mean the kind in sausage). I've followed him for years and really enjoy hearing his EXTREMELY pointed opinions on things! I actually can't get FBN at home because it would cost me $15/month extra to get my cable upgraded to where I could receive it, but until I heard this, I was just about ready to bite the bullet and pay the extra solely for your network. I've been keeping up with the Judge, for the most part, by catching him at your website where a lot of his segments are available. I just get pumped up every time I hear the man!
I'd like to add that I really like catching Stuart Varney in the mornings at about 9:06 on Fox News as well and I'm sure I'd love hearing his perspective on Varney & Co on a daily basis. I've actually caught him a few times while over at my dad's (who has satellite) and have very much enjoyed his wit and insight! And I also like Lou Dobbs and I LOVE Stossel (though I don't have any of his pics hung up in my bedroom).
Anyway, not to get too diluted in my request, please resurrect The Judge's show! The best way I could thank you for this is to commit to faithfully throwing an extra $15 per month at my cable company so I can enjoy watching him along with some of your other fine hosts mentioned above!
Thank you,

Fox Fan?? Maybe...
not to corny
i thought it was well said and far more eloquent than i could ever be when talking to fox news. i would have been crude and said something stupid and barbaric like....oh i don't know, let the judge speak or i will tare you're traitor's heads off.
Sorry Judge, Im going to
Sorry Judge, Im going to watch it on youtube not on fox business.
sorry :-/
And as Cavuto would say
if you don't get Fox Business....YouTube It! Demand the Judge!
Tone down, do not stop.
I think we have to continue calling and sending emails, but keep it civil and to the point. No personal attacks, no name calling (we have a fair amount of people in our camp who call everybody they do not like a Zionist or Illuminati....)
Copy, save and start from Monday.

I avoided a complaint here
I avoided a complaint here because I knew it seemed to be more of removing low rating shows for new ones. If it was just the Judge I would be a little more curious. Maybe this will give the Judge to show a little more support in some other way now.

I sent the following e-mail to Kevin.Magee@foxnews.com, the man I am told was responsible for cancelling the "Freedom Watch" program on that channel:
I wonder whether Fox News has thought through the implications and consequences of cancelling Judge Napolitano's program. Most of the attraction of people to the Internet derives from the fact that an almost endless variety of opinions and interests are available therein, giving that medium an advantage over broadcast outlets which — for one reason or another —

Thanks Judge.
Lets be honest
The show had poor ratings look it up. Now, I liked it but thats Fox's choice and prerogative, I am disappointed but they didn't fire him or anything.
We want people to take us seriously and not muddy the Judge or Dr. Paul's name.
Lets just do our part in our everyday lives to live for freedom and promote integrity like Dr. Paul and watch the influence that we have over the years. Its only just begun.

"The show had poor ratings
"The show had poor ratings look it up."
You know slugnuts, you made the claim. Its up to you to prove it by providing a verifiable, original source link.
Poor Ratings?
You're kidding right? I’d love to see those statistics. It was the highest rated show in it’s time slot. He was gaining too many follows and breaking too many stories with the truth. So the in effect “silenced him” without killing him. He’s too high profile for them to assassinate. Wake up!
"Give me liberty or give me death!" Patrick Henry
How can you be convinced of poor ratings ?
Ratings are kind of a slight of hand maneuver. Kind of like the results from the Iowa Caucuses...and several more primaries and caucuses from what I'm reading ? Ratings seems more readily to match the politics of the day..It seems your assessment might need a little more thought to bring out the light of day.
Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow
Poor Ratings?
I'm not disputing your claim but I would just like to see the ratings. "Poor" is a relative term. Poor compared to what? Poor compared to other shows in the same time slot? MSNBC? CNBC? Bloomberg? Poor compared to other shows on Fox? I don't know what "poor" even means when you say "poor ratings". It would be good to have specifics.

Well, the last report I saw
Well, the last report I saw showed October, but the Judge has been upping the ante in the type of content he talks about in the past couple weeks. I have no doubt there was a spike in the last couple of weeks when people started tuning in cause he was actually mentioning things like the NDAA and more.
I cancelled satellite two years ago.
Best thing I ever did for my family.
Cancelled Netflix too!
Can't agree more. Been just over 3 years
since we had TV programming. We get all our news & entertainment via the web at our leisure and discretion. Also have much more time to read actual real books. When I tell people this they give weird looks and say "well how do you keep up with what's goin on in the world?" I then kindly explain to them that more TV doesn't equal more awareness! After a few more minutes of conversation about real world topics it is apparent that what they think they know is just regurgitation from some statist media. I honestly believe that this must change for the revolution to succeed. And of course it will!
