Sons of Liberty: libertarian metal

Haha, I just found out that Jon Schaffer, the main guy from Iced Earth (famous old band) recently did a solo project called Sons of Liberty. Their lyrics are all about libertarian stuff/New World Order conspiracy. I've never been a huge Iced Earth fan, but I knew they were a conservative band. Their former singer quit and became a policeman after 9/11. Sounds like the main guitarist has been paying attention to Ron Paul.

Im a classical musician, but
Im a classical musician, but also listen to some hard stuff (I'm very discerning though, most of it sucks) like Meshuggah. Basically bands that do incredible rhythmic things. I know first hand there are a lot of liberty minded people that are into metal, a lot of knuckleheads too unfortunately. I could see a big band like Lamb of God going liberty. What would be amazing is if there was a more liberty oriented Rage Against the Machine. RATM was good, but Morello is a Harvard socialist (kinda weird huh?)
