Ron Paul is leading! Must read for positivity

Keep in minds that caucus states in this race so far didn't award any delegates yet (Iowa, Nevada, MN, etc). Also just check back in '08 when Paul didn't win any states (or barely even came in second) he got 21 to Romney's 2 delegates at the RNC with Romney came in first in many states.
Now in 2012, Paul is doing much better with a more organized campaign. It doesn't matter who came first in these beauty contests but the fact is that Paul is taking many of these delegates so far. When it's all said and done there is a great chance that Paul will come out on top should there be a brokered convention in Tampa this year with the assistance of Paul's secret "pledged" delegates for the other candidates. The chance of a brokered convention happening is looking better as ever because the race is wide open with Romney far from the 1144 pledged delegates.
Today, Paul broke yet another ceiling with a strong finish at 36%. In the past, I recalled reading that many political analysts suggested that Paul's ceilings are at 10%,15%,20%,25%,etc. With each contest, he's proving them wrong over and over again if his voters actually show up to vote (i.e Ron Paul's campaign got about 23,000+ IDs in Nevada but only about 6,000 of them were willing to show up to vote on a Saturday morning). The day when his supporters actually show up to vote for him is the day he will win a state, until then Paul will continue to win delegates regardless of his finishes in these beauty contests for the mainstream media to report.
We can't expect for everything overnight
Taking over the GOP will take a lot of time and effort.
How can we expect to change it overnight? The liberty movement only really started getting some traction in '08. But "end the fed" was seen as coocoo back then.
Look how far we've come!! 4 years later, which is peanuts in the history of this country, the movement really is alive and well.
RP has already delivered more than his fair share. He handed us a platform we can build on.
If he gets the Presidency, it will speed up the process.
If not, the Presidency is just the tip of the iceberg in this country! We need the Congress, the Senate, state offices, county offices.
And the only way to get there is to weed out those neocons and start taking over key seats in key locations! Only then will we dictate our Party (GOP) rules by bringing it back to its original intentions.
Depending on a person is dangerous as that one person will one day have to retire.
Getting a well oiled system that will produce great candidates time after time will be the key to making our country FAR greater than any other country!

It is almost as if you weren't alive in 2008 when the word "brokered convention" was posted on this very board a few hundreds time...everyone GURANTEEING it was going to happen.
And talking about how many delegates Romney got in 2008? PLEASE don't tell that to people if you say you are a Paul supporter becuase it will make you (and by association, Ron Paul) look like a complete idiot. Romney did't get more delegates because he DROPPED OUT. So he TOLD his delegates to vote for McCain.
He's not going to do that this year.

My concern is the following:
In a state like Nevada where 23,000 ID's were provided to the caucus volunteers and only 6,000 Ron Paul supporters actually voted makes one very frustrated. We (Ron Paul Supporters) are known for our aggressiveness, our persistence and reliability, and lastly our credibility. I also believe that many if not most of us truly have high morals and an ethical superiority. And when I say us, I am referring to Ron Paul Supporters.
At this point I am more inclined
to believe they did show up and voted, but the votes were simply thrown away. We are dealing with dirty, stinking rats. Let's smoke them and get them out to join the Democrats. We need to build a coalition to route these people out of their positions and deny them any future within the GOP. Of course we need a list of names so we don't forget who they are and keep a tabulation on how many are left in the GOP day by day.

If that was the case, Ron Paul's campaign could've easily declared fraud in Nevada because they can contact 23,000+ of their supporters or vice versa. The point is Ron Paul supporters need to get out and vote for him even if he forgot to remind them to in his past/future rallies.

The entire delegate situation is not a known factor so we can only hope that it'll turn out the way we want. Ron Paul knows a lot better than I do when to be optimistic and when to change plans.
For the moment, though I'm somewhat discouraged by the results tonight, I'll listen to what the campaign and Ron Paul have to say about the matter.
The entire election process is deceptive and one an honest man or woman wouldn't want to see continued in the way that it is.

What is wrong with this folks? Our government ended up where it is because we were not paying attention and not involved. It floors me that anyone who understands our current situation would actually not show up and do all they can do to change it...
You can tell what really matters to someone by the way they spend their time and their money.
If you support freedom, if you want America to return to the constitution, if you want your rights back and the government off of your back, if you care at all - VOTE, CAUCUS, and DONATE. Compared to what Dr. Paul has done for 30 Years for you and I, we have so little that is expected of us.
This man should be sitting in a comfortable chair with his feet up instead of working his tail off for you and me... how can you not get up and vote, how can you not take 1 day to help him when he has spent 30 years working for us?

Ron Paul often forgot to remind his supporters to vote for him in his past rallies. People should've known that in order for him to win at the RNC in Tampa, he must get their votes as well as the willingness to become delegates!

Its important to have faith and stay objective. This was always about delegates. Don't let the media demoralize you. Remember, Paul represents the heart and soul of a dying party. So turn of the lights, take a deep breath, and relax. Let his rhythm be your guiding light.
