Maine is best Ron Paul result EVER!
Submitted by gee_blee on Sat, 02/11/2012 - 19:55Tremendous victory, and a tremendous job for all involved (that means all of us)!
27% (Minny) and 36% in the last two contests! In a four-man race. These are great outcomes.
When you couple them with the fact that we are snagging the majority of delegates (the REAL election) in these and other contests, and we should all feel energized.
We're only getting started, and the best is yet to come.

Let's have the pundit "ceiling" report.
"I think we are seeing the absolute ceiling for Ron Paul demonstrated here in Maine, Wolf. He had the state practically to himself, he had the all-important L.L. Bean endorsement, he had five years of building an organization there, yet all he can do is almost 36%. This is the undeniable upper limit on voter willingness to overlook his extremely off-the-wall views on everything from the Federal Reserve to troop withdrawals to the War on Drugs. Obviously enough were deceived by his grandfatherly Mr. Rogers demeanor, complete with sweater, to keep him from losing to candidates who had not campaigned in the state but clearly the majority in Maine sought to make their vote count by voting for one of the responsible mainstream candidates. Ron Paul will never see numbers going forward like he saw here tonight and the likelihood is that he will soon exit the race rather than face more failures."
No, I haven't heard it but I'm waiting for it.

I live in Maine...it is very nice but is actually very democratic state, especially southern maine..I think Mass has infected the southern part of the state..overall, new hampshire's laws are much more liberty minded....hopefully we are changing things here, but most Republicans are neocons/rinos..that being said please come up and help me fix this place!!!!
