It's time to sent the GOP a message!
Submitted by freedom express on Sat, 02/11/2012 - 20:33I know many have been calling to threaten the GOP, that if Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination we won't support the nominee, which I've been against, as it's not an honorable practice. However, it's time that we tell the GOP these divisive tactics being played to undermine Paul's success of winning Maine, by cancelling caucuses for unsubstantial reasons, other than to prevent a Paul win, is not going to be stood for, period! We need to let them know, that if they continue to play these foolish games, there is absoulutely no chance of Paul supporters backing 'their' nominee, virtually guaranteeing a second Obama term. It's not about politics, its about damn principle! Lets give them MF'ers some good loving feelings!!!!!!

I don't get
why you think the GOP CARES about beating Obama! They are running despised RINOs against the Dems every 4 years. The Neocons took over the GOP completely when W. was elected. The Neocons are LEFTISTS posing as conservatives and these LEFTISTS want Obama to win. The GOP could not care less if you support their nominee. The one who can beat Obama is Ron Paul and that is why the GOP is blocking him every way they can. They do not really want to BEAT Obama. They just want people to believe in the ILLUSION of picking their own "leaders". Ron Paul is trying to make a rigged system work in reality.
BUMP
this!!!
Hey GOP! Nominate an honorable candidate.
Nominating a corrupt warmongering neocon puppet that does not have a proven record of adherance to the constitution is dishonorable.
I think the party would be
I think the party would be more than happy to have Obama again if it meant that RP wouldn't be president. So I don't really think this would work given the party has no principles.

I agree with the party being happy with Obama winning
Looks like a good looking articulate smooth talking black presidential candidate verses a good looking articulate smooth talking white presidential candidate. The winner is who looks the prettiest in deceiving the voters. This Catholic will not be voting for neither.Certainly not Rick or Newt.If you vote for the lesser of two evils you still have evil.I will vote for the prudent, honest, freedom and loving liberty standing person.Ron Paul. Frankly at my age now.I don't give a hoot who is president if its not Ron Paul in 2012.I believe in Samuel 1 Chapter 8 the Lord says to Samuel Give them the President/King that the they request. He will take your sons and make them implements of war and tax everyone and everything you own.Sad how history repeats itself.
No...
they're still corrupt, power-seeking bastards, so I doubt they'd be too thrilled with Obama being reelected.
I don't play, I commission the league.
The 'nuclear option' is
to vote out every Republican that is up for election.
House, Senate, Governors, Mayors, County Commissions, Dog Catchers, whatever.
No more Republicans left in office, period.
They think they want another Obama term, and don't mind that?
Let's see how they like no more Republican Party. And without any people in power, they won't get any donations, and they'll be toast.
If they want it, we can give it to them.
I'm not saying that giving everything over to Democrat control is a healthy thing to do. But, we 'could' remove 50% of all the incumbent criminals that are elected to gov't this way, and work on the Dems next.
That's counter productive.
That's counter productive. Vote for Ron Paul-minded candidates only...which is already happening. We will return what the Good Old Party stood for. Liberty and the Constitution.
The GOP will be different in the coming years if not sooner. If you really want to change things start out by being a Council member...take no pay would help and prove a point.
Yes
I think it's time to discuss the nuclear option...
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom — go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, an
That is for after the national convention in Tampa
It can only be done at the general election in November, and we can't do it until then anyway.
It's an option if they screw RP out of the deal all the way.
So, discussing it will do no good right now.
But, it can be in the back of our minds, for later discussion, and that's why I brought the subject up.
Regardless of what happens in Tampa,
I sure hope everyone is plannng on voting out any candidate who supported the NDAA.
Members of both parties are guilty of going nuclear on the Constitution and our rights.
"honorable practice"?
Dude, I won't vote GOP if Ron Paul is not the nominee, PERIOD!
Is it honorable to have the GOP paid hacks demagogue Ron Paul's positions and lie about him on sheepTV? Is it honorable to do whatever they can in every caucus state to make sure Ron Paul doesn't win? Is it honorable to give him 90 seconds in a two hour debate?
Those fuckers only understand force so the way to send them a message is to go berserk on the "No one but Paul" moneybomb!
