The totals reflected about 84 percent of the state's precincts. [State Republican Chairman Charlie] Webster insisted that any caucus results that come in after Saturday wouldn't be counted no matter how close the vote.
"Some caucuses decided not to participate in this poll and will caucus after this announcement," Webster said. "Their results will not be factored in. The absent votes will not be factored into this announcement after the fact."

What would our founding fathers done about this?
I would take a page out of the history book on the Boston Tea Party, Put on some Indian apparell and take care of business. Our founding fathers didn't accept the taxes levied on the tea to King George did they? Why should we accept this joke of an election. Make OWS look like a picnic and make a scene about what is going on. If enough gather to have the vote counted then it will be counted. Then after that throw the bums out that currently run the GOP. There must be a precedence even if it happened a long time ago that would provide the court guidance on a judgement of the issue.

Are we mad at him because he tried to force those caucuses not to cancel by threatening not to count their votes unless they met by Saturday?
Or are we mad at him because when they refused to caucus, he lived up to the threat?

Contact the Judicial Committee
The GOP has, possibly at each level, certainly at the state and national levels (try state first), a judicial committee.
Keep that in mind when these things happen.
However, if some localities did not want to participate, I don't see how we can question their refusal to bow to the central planners and hold their caucuses when the central planners told them to. Obviously, the press spotlight has moved on, and an announcement changing the winner later would just make the Maine GOP look silly.
Given how many people liked the idea of keeping our delegate strategy low-key, you'd think everyone would love the chance to win by stealth in Maine. Those who show up, win.

After being kicked out of the GOP's 2nd Congressional Convention in Missouri in 2008, for arbitrary and trumped up reasons (Every delegate from St. Charles County was excluded and removed because RP supporters took over the county caucus there)I stood outside the convention hall and asked a Kirkwood police officer under what authority could he remove peaceful participants at a political gathering. The conversation went something like this...
Officer: "The Republican Party is a private organization and they rented this space. They can decide who they want there and who they don't. They decide their own rules."
I replied with, "So it's something like a country club then?"

LOL, as hard as they may try, they cannot rig the TRUTH, it will come out one way or another. They CANNOT forge the delegate count that will march through fire to get to that convention in order to represent Paul, the real winner of Maine stands even if he is not reported on. This should not dissuade us in any way!!!

I have been thinking the same thing all night. NO ONE should be upset. Even if they never counted another vote, we walk away winners as we have in every state.
I still think we won Maine, as I do Nevada and Iowa. Hopefully when the dust settles this one will come out in our favor. I still am encouraged though - we won the delegate count and that is what truly matters!
