Seems totally unbelievable
Seems totally unbelievable that only 2000 Ron Paul supporters made it out to vote in the whole state of Maine. How is that possible? What happened to the enthusiastic Ron Paul supporters? We should be blowing everyone out of the water in these caucus states.
I keep asking myself the same:
how can a man who can attract over 5,000 people over the course of two days at various townhalls, only have 1,996 people voting for him in a Caucus state that held it over the course of an entire week!
From what I understand there are about three counties that didn't vote. So, even if we were to exclude those numbers, and float the possibility that even at the Doc's townhalls, SOME probably were 'repeat attendees,' and about 80% were solid supporters, and the rest were on the fence/just curious. That still puts his support around 4,000 people mark!
so what gives?
Can any Maine R3VOL who caucused share their insights on this matter?
And, what others they know in ME who also caucused for Dr. Paul in other counties are saying about the turnout, or if there were any shenanigans, other than the one pulled by the ME GOP Chair, Chucky Webster?
thanks.
