We need boots in Michigan. And keep up the Struggle. if you thought this was going to be a cake walk, well how is it working out for you ? This is going to be a long drawn out affair. They will try to discourage us, they will try to intimidate us, they will try to ignore us, they will try to make us look crazy, they will try to make us question our loyalty, they will try to so seeds of mistrust, they know that this wall climb is hard. They are climbing it too. It's about this ... How do you define your self. How strong is your heart. When your arms ache so bad they shake, and your mind keeps asking the same question over and over again ... Why am I doing this. This is where the meddle meets the meat. This is the crucible. How much do you think you can take, do you really know ? Do you really know what you are capable of ? Do you want to quit ? Fall to the ground scream and pound your feet apon it ? Is this how you see your self ? Is this what meddle is ? There is something on the other side of this wall. The only way to get there is up and over. Through them and everything they got. I heard it asked " What are they afraid of ?" Well I will tell you ... They are afraid that there is more to you than even they realize, and hope that you don't know it either.

If you're thinking that it's not worth participating and campaigning because RP won't win your state, YOU ARE WRONG. Every vote is a message of encouragement to the future voters in other states. Every vote is a signal within the political market. YOUR vote MATTERS. Every friend or family member you get to vote with you MATTERS. Dr. Paul has carried this torch for a long time; you can carry it for a few days.

At the Polls

Hey guys, I live in Michigan (Paw Paw) and just wanted to see what needs to be done at the polls.

Obviously vote for RP, but above and beyond that. To be honest, this is the first time I've voted in the primaries because I'm extremely passionate about where this country needs to be.

So, with that said, a couple of questions about the process (hopefully someone can help from MI)

1) On voting day, I know I need to vote RP, but do they vote for the delegates afterwards or is it already pre-determined beforehand (I'm still a little shaky as to how the whole popular vote/delegate process is)

2) When the polls close, am I allowed to stay afterwards while they count them up so I can post it on here? Is there something special I have to do?

I'm looking forward to seeing how MI plays out. I know the county next to mine (Kalamazoo) is a huge college town and I see a lot of Ron Paul signs. Not sure how mine will play out (Van Buren) -- I know there are a lot of ritzy ppl here... but I have only seen RP signs and none of the others.

As long as you are registered to vote on voting day you declare you are republican at the polls , as far as I understand it.

id delegate as well - but that would take someone "walking me through it" - i have learned scores because of thomas jefferson i mean ron pauls campaign - but not enough to try to do that on my own...

i would love to get a weekend to plaster the u.p. canvass sign wave - etc. - we need a u.p. wide rally - though most areas i have gone to i see paul everywhere nothing else - pauls strong UP here!!! back to my pasty! :)

grew up in Cheboygan Mi and whenever we went to visit we tried to get a Pasty in Mackinaw City.Loved them , then found out that the flavor that made it special was rutabega.. a veg that I hated.. or so I thought. I'm absolutely in it to win it for Dr. Paul!!

first of all - id say get active on sign waves on roads, yard signs - etc - also - this website i linked sign up - get the emails daily - and look at the mass amount of meetings - go to one - they will make sure your energy is put to good use :)
