I have had success with people who have fallen into Islamophobia
when they become educated about the actual contents of the Qur'aan. Rather than fueling "enemies" this helps the cause of this campaign. It is these people who use that phobia as an excuse for finding that common ground with the Santorums, Gingrich's, Romneys, and more.
Many DP'rs have posted difficulty reaching certain people. I have used this book to reach people that no amount of talking could reach. They simply didn't know, and all they knew was what they have been "mind-controlled" to know.
The actual contents of the Qur'aan are mostly the opposite of what most people think. How would anyone know unless they read it?

I have already studied the
I have already studied the Quaran and the Hadifs with muslims. The Quaran does state that the Bible is the "source of all truth and knowledge", but it severely contradicts the Bible at the same time. Their excuse is that the true bible has been taken to heaven and the one we use is corrupted.
I think it is enouth to see that the calls to war against Iran is helping the Iranian government to become more tyranical and hurting the people of Iran. It is the same in Iran as in the US . . . talk of war in both places is used to strenghen the power of the government.
I don't need to try to convince myself that they are "brothers" or that they believe similar things as me to treat them like fellow humans living in a fallen world. I don't see muslims any different than I do athiests or . . .whatever.
I have studied the hadiths too..
And I have come to the conclusion that most of the "backward" thinking that is seen in the muslim world stems from those books(hadiths)which were written centuries after the quran by those who wanted to control populations with rules they associated with the prophet and thus constrain the independent free thinkers of that time.
Many islamic beliefs are actually not based on the quran, but in fact based on the hadiths.

That is true and I would add that I think much written in the Hadiths were reactions to the Christians demonstrating that they had the "better way". The Quaran by itself still totally contradicts the Bible.
My main point though is that they are fellow humans struggling through life in this fallen world, and if they don't attack us then we should not be engaged in any sort of aggression towards them just because we have some sort of irrational fear towards them.
I call it irrational fear, since the US is a million times stonger than them and we have the Santorums and Backmanns and Newts wanting us to shake in or boots in fear. Not because they don't pose any threat what-so-ever.
I wouldn't say it contradicts the bible
since are many parts where they both agree, some of the contradicting points are wherein Chritians claim Jesus is God or a real SON of God and wherein it claims Jews are the CHOSEN people of God who can really do no wrong.
The quran does contradict those points by pointing to the oneness of God and also pointing to being the creator of all leaving the "chosen" people to be those humans who are righteous.

Even basic accounts of Old Testiment stories are totally off. The properties of their God are more akin to the Bibles description of Satan (eg. he is the author of lies). Of course there are some similiarites such as omnipotent, but that is more like wishful thinking on Satans part (or prideful boasting.
I'm not into going into great theological discussions on this, since my main point is that these differences don't meain that we shouldn't treat them as fellow humans . . . especially if they treat me with proper respect.

Also from my studying of the quran I have learned the following regarding its position on "war":
The Qur'an and the rules of engagement relating to war/fighting.
"You may fight in the cause of GOD those who fight you, but do not aggress. GOD does not love the aggressors. (2:190)
"They question you with regard to warfare in the sacred month. Say: Warfare therein is a great (transgression), but to turn (men) from the way of GOD, and to disbelieve in Him and in the Inviolable Place of Worship, and to expel His people thence, is a greater with GOD; for persecution is worse than killing. And they will not cease from fighting against you till they have made you renegades from your religion, if they can. And he who becomes renegade and dies in his disbelief: such are they whose works have fallen both in the world and the Hereafter. Such are rightful owners of the Fire: they will abide therein." (2:217)
"And kill them where you find them, and evict them whence they evicted you. Oppression is worse than murder. Do not fight them at the Sacred Mosque, unless they fight you therein. If they fight you, you may kill them. This is the just retribution for those who disbelieve. (2:191)
"...As for those who believe, but do not emigrate with you, you do not owe them any support, until they do emigrate. However, if they seek your help, as brethren in faith, you shall help them, except against people with whom you have signed a peace treaty. GOD is Seer of everything you do. (8:72)
"And why should you not fight in the cause of God and the weak and oppressed among men, women, and children who say, "Our Lord rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors. And give us from You, a protector. And give us from You, a helper" (4:75).
"...if you are attacked, then you shall attack by the same equivalence. And reverence GOD and know that GOD is with the righteous" (2:194)
"And if you punish, you shall inflict an equivalent punishment. But if you resort to patience (instead of revenge), it would be better for the patient ones. (16:26)
[2:256] There shall be no compulsion in religion: the right way is now distinct from the wrong way. Anyone who denounces the devil and believes in GOD has grasped the strongest bond; one that never breaks. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient.
From the above verses we can gather that fighting is only prescribed against those who attack(self-defense), also the above verses state that the only punishment one can return against an aggressor is an equal punishment, though the Quran does declare that it would be better to resort to patience, rather than, an eye for an eye, even though you have a right to it.
Moreover, the Qur'an explicitly declares that there be NO COMPULSION in RELIGION.
Therefore, the rules of engagement are:
1.Self-defense
2Coming to the defense of an oppressed people
3. Punishment equal to the punishment caused you or you can restrain the punishment which is better for you.
Now understanding this context you can go through the "half verses/verses" taken out of context and understand that the fighting prescribed in those verses directly relates to self-defense, be it from ongoing defensive wars, broken treaties, etc
Considering that they believe
Considering that they believe in a thing called abrogation and that most (but not all) believe that the some of the Hadiths override the Quaran, you will be getting some peaceful and some violent interpretations.
Which ever way you interpret it, the Quaran still totally contradicts the Bible even though the Bible is supposed to be the "source of all truth and knowledge" according to the Quaran.
Like I said in the comment above you, I don't need for someone to believe the same thing I do to treat them like a fellow human in this fallen world.

Thanks for doing this. I find it so Twilight Zone how people believe that this religion is full of psychopathic liars and murderers and criminals, instead of regular human beings who want to do what's right.
