Lol

What was RT thinking? Yeah, the first guy I want a comment from on this is . . . Wayne Root. I guess Bob Barr wasn't available.

Root was the paid shill, the Fox News mouthpiece....

who tried to put the positive spin on this miserable decision.
I don't think that Barr is on the Fox payroll, yet.

Wanye it's

cute that you call yourself a libertarian and you want to lead the party, but come back and see Us when you have a 30+ years of unwavering devotion to the Constitution and libertarianism. Right now you just come off as a wanna-be power-hungry idiot!

If the history of man teaches anything, it is that the masses don't answer until a catastrophe is beating down the door.

SteveMT's picture

Root is a LINO!

Libertarian in name only.

He's a loud mouth shill for Fox News and the NeoCons, IMO.

the smart libertarians also tend to be the better looking ones..

coincidence?

in case your genius post-downing mind missed it, i'm saying this wayne whoever person is fugly..

Sell Out

Fox Spy For Sure.

Wayne works for establishment

Wayne is saying the same thing a Jack Welch would say. Be aware - Wayne is an establishment republican that supports Romney. Idiot would try to draw people into the libertarian party if he were honest. Instead, his message is stay in the republican party and allow Romney to co-opt you. I don't think he is enthused about the Tea party either.

Let's give this a rest please..

Most people already know about this. Please make room for more important topics.

So he doesn't

want to say anything bad about fox-gets along well with them. Wwell let me tell you, no way did fox business network believe that the Judge's show would elicit the viewership that it rcv'd. They are ALL about big governmemt. If you have watched often you have noticed some of their contributors actually speaking from cheat sheets. I believe they are told what they can say and what they can't.

The judge filled a huge void; Stossel and Rivera aren't bad but Stossel still seems confused at times on what Libertarian actually stands for...like many others who open their mouths and drivel comes out.

When O'Reilly and Hannity treated RP so disrespectively, Fox lost me except for the Judge. I believe he will be very visible again..shortly and with his great message.

Hey RT

Hello "Russia Today":
Since Ron Paul supporters will surely be watching the Judge regardless of which station he's on. Why don't you guys offer him a slot on RT?
This would be a big boost for RT, as you surely will pick up a lot of Dr. Paul supporters.
You could call the show "Pravda Si-Void-nay"
aka Truth Today.
By the way, Thanks RT for discussing Ron Paul on your show.

Good analysis

Fox cancelled the Judge because he promoted RP on the show.

That's the reason.
You can dance around it all you want, and make up rationalizations about ratings or whatever.
The bottom line is that Fox didn't want any good publicity for RP on their networks, and they shut it down.
Anybody with eyes can see that.

False conspiracy theory.

That's not why. It was canceled because it wasn't bringing in enough revenue.

"October numbers to date prove to be Napolitano’s lowest rated month for total viewers (P2+) since May ’11, and the absolute lowest rated month in the demo all year, averaging a measly 50,000 total viewers, with 8,000 in the demo. He’s also down 10% in total viewers, and a whopping 43% in the demo just since last month. To make matters worse, he loses more than half of the audience that the network’s top-rated Lou Dobbs Tonight brings in on a regular basis. – Mediate.com"

If you think Rupert Murdoch cares about anything other than making money, you've got another thing coming.

Can the ratings be fudged, like the numbers in elections?

It is getting harder and harder to believe what I hear and read anymore.

A.Hansen

I might agree with this

BUT Hannity, and BillO were also down about the same percentages.

Everything's a conspiracy theory, right.

Yeah, the fact that a political commentator gets fired for content is a "conspiracy theory."

The Judge had one of the best rated programs on a network with limited distribution. And Murdoch, like many others, has a political agenda. Or is it only Ron Paul supporters who promote a political message?

Judge Napolitano promoted Liberty from every angle

But he was prudent not to overtly promote Dr. Paul, or anyone running for office. The Judge knew the legal limits he could go to on his show, and took it to those limits as often as he could. It was his off-air speeches like the first one cited here that brought Fox execs consternation.

Anyone searching online could find him speaking more directly of and for Paul when he wasn't constrained by the same legal protocols against promoting any one candidate that everyone must follow, including Fox.

Liberty is vital for virtuous business, so it made sense to have Freedom Watch on that channel, but since virtue doesn't contrast well with shady business dealers who dread the light he shed on them, and they can't find anyone better to replace him; then rehashed news of the day from lower rated shows is all they can offer in the Judge's place. Like the lady said, "Hmm."

For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst and provide for it. - Patrick Henry

Fox Business Network?

Geraldo Rivera and John Stossel are also on the "Fox Business Nework"! Please tell what it costs Fox News to own people like you and Sarah Palin?

I don't think the Rooster

contradicted himself enough on the 'enthusiasm brand' he tried to concoct - should do a do-over. What a concrock.

Are you sure?

Yeah, you're sure ;-)

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

DittO

Co opting the movement??? Like they did the Tea Party & OWS!!! LOL
They are very sneaky;-(

This guy is a damned LIAR!

This wayne allyn root is a damned liar. How in the hell can anyone say with a clear conscience that faux news isn't anti-Ron Paul. He has zero credibility as far as I am concerned!

Now I understand the old phrase "the root of the problem." It should be changed to "Root is part of the problem.

Someone Smart Will Pick

up the Judges show.

There is no way Freedom Watch is going to go away.

"It does not take a majority to prevail but rather an irate, tireless minority keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men."

--Samuel Adams

Why is this on the FP?

Root is establishment. He hates LRC. That should tell you all you need to know about him.

Faux cancelled it for no

Faux cancelled it for no reason at all. They knew FREEDOM WATCH is one of the highest rated show in fact its the only show that really cares for the people. He explains the issues that ordinary people can digest and understand. I wonder why they've given up the show knowing it brings a lot of young demographic coming on board on their channel. And also to say that his show and libertarian principles are anti corporations is totally a lie. Its shameful for this guy to ridicule the very thing he says that he believes in. He is totally a Shill.

"When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty."

Libertarianism is not pro-corporation??

WTF is this guy talking about? He has no idea. Libertarianism is not anti-corporation, it's anti-government!
No doubt Fox has surrounded itself with ignorant stooges who develop their own theories about things.

This guy is loaded like a fake dice

Libertarianism is anti-corporatism, not anti-corporations. They always mix up real free market economics with corporatism - this guy is no libertarian, just a Libertarian Party mouthpiece with interests in Fox.

Question...

Why do you think a corporation is "real" free market economics?

More like a perversion to me.
