What should we do about Maine
Submitted by Sir Andrew Thomas on Sun, 02/12/2012 - 01:47Do we need to prepare
for a protest after next Saturday? What is strategy if Ron Paul wins in Maine next weekend? We need those votes to count! I don't think e'mailing some guy in Maine is enough.

Nothing. Just take the lesson and move on ...
We are winning.
This will become a 2 man race. Dr. Paul will smoke Romney.
Please, try to be patient. I was cured 4 years ago in the 2008 campaign. It is different this time, and time my friend is on our side. Over the next few months the economy will continue to weaken. The worst the economy, the better Paul will do. Please, don't misunderstand me, I'm not looking forward to the hard times that we face, but at this point they are inevitable.
We all knew going into this it wasn't going to be a fair fight. Politics seldom is. I trust Dr. Paul. If he ain't sweatin' it, I ain't.
Don't Bully the Party
As I said on the thread about hounding the chair,
"Are we mad at him because he tried to force those caucuses not to cancel by threatening not to count their votes unless they met by Saturday?
"Or are we mad at him because when they refused to caucus, he lived up to the threat?"
Or, worse, wait and see if Ron Paul wins, then decide.
The campaign will get organized and make sure we get the delegates. That's all that matters in Maine at this point. That, and not shooting ourselves in the foot by being obnoxious with our accusations (especially from the outside). Let Maine and the campaign deal with Maine.
The next task is to send out valentines for the 14th, and raise some money.

Sorry too late.
I wish you cared with this intensity two years ago....when it mattered.
THATS when you execute your party strategy.
You don't leave it to the campaign and you dont leave it for the day or week of.
It starts a MINIMUM of two years prior when you start attending your local party meetings and getting elected to party positions and supporting other Ron Paul Republicans for party positions.
You think you show up the day of and everyone welcomes you with open arms and give you a round of applause?
This has nothing to do with modern day America or the modern day GOP.
This is how politics is and has been for SIX THOUSAND YEARS.
You need to be involved or you get locked out. Simple as that.
Taking it a step further...
Mainly speaking to fellow Mainers who appear here. Mainers, have you noticed that Olympia and Susan have been US Senators since about 1995? That's 17 years of same 'ol samd 'ol. Guess who voted in the NDAA? Nice ladies who voted to disregard the US Constitution. Also, Mainers, have you noticed that most of the US Senators have been LAWYERS? THat is the problem today with Maine as it effects the Ron Paul E3VOLution. What we are seeing in Maine right now is the Usual LAWYER dirty tricks like we saw with their Pal Richard Nixon.
Then we have two US Constress people, both of whom are Democrats...so here we have another Ron Paul blockage. THis is sthe problem in Maine. The citizens just don't get involved like they ought to. Our Court system is also an issue, but that is another dismal story.
It only takes just a few of us to generate goodness for Ron Paul. I believe this: What we Expect we get. Basically, it is what we think about we bring about. When enough of us refuse to accept defeat, like a champion does, we generate power which carries us to a WIN. Expect to WIN and we WIN. This coming Saturday Deleah and I travel to East Machias for the Caucus, and Vote for Our President Paul. Thank you for all the good work that everyone does here in Maine for our President. Love and Gratitude to all.

I was thinking the same thing
As a matter of fact I registered and introduced myself on his site less than 30 minutes ago. I'm looking forward to reading his reaction regarding Maine tomorrow.
