This Has To Be Addressed

Watch the maine speech on dailypauls top story - cnn has 95% reported -

http://www.google.com/ele...

That is 4:45 am et - we all know this is not over - we all know Washington county was delayed - we all know it's almost 20% of the voters ------- but no ones calling out CNN and the media!!! Where's the revolutionPAC.com investigators? Whers the campaign lawyers?

This stuff is obvious let alone all the purposely caused confusion - this needs to get addressed.

why is this post

stuck at 29 votes?

who is going

to believe these shenanigans are actually taking place if the campaign is not making an issue of this.

Exactly

and it seems like before there can be economic reform and foreign policy reform, there has to be voter reform, otherwise people like Dr. Paul will never be allowed into the inner sanctum where they can cause positive, necessary change.

It starts with the votes, if WE THE PEOPLE aren't actually selecting our leaders, WE THE PEOPLE need to know.

It is a high time

to defend the rule of law, and the right to vote. I am sure that there are rules preventing deception through media, especially in the case of elections.

Revpac might be an option...

Can Rev Pac fund the lawyers and call out the fraud? If it falls into the establishment trap for the campaign to call out fraud, maybe an organization should do it? I will donate!

It has to be addressed, I

It has to be addressed, I can't imagine them not addressing it, but you have to be absolutely sure you got all your bases covered when you do.

I don't think

it's laughable or comedic at all. And I am really wondering why Dr. Paul isn't calling the MSM out more on this. His interview with Bob Sheiffer this morning, they quickly discussed "losing" Maine, and Dr. Paul went right into the whole delegate spiel.

I know Delegates is the game we're playing, but what I don't understand is why Ron P is not taking more opportunity to let the American people know there really is fishy stuff going on within the GOP? He seems to be the candidate who wants to educate American's about what is really going on in this country, so why is he not taking some opportunities here and there to let voters know there is fraud happening right under their noses????

Strategy

Paul shouldn't be talking of voting fraud himself. What if Romney still wins when all precincts are counted? It would be best to let his staff and lawyers handle the matter while he stays positive and concentrates on future campaining.

I hear where you are coming

I hear where you are coming from, but the reality is that nobody likes a sore loser -no matter the circumstances. Think how bad Gore looked after contesting the W win in 2000. Psychologically, it would be very bad for RP to start talking about this himself. It would be a stigma that would always follow him. That doesn't mean that his campaign managers and lawyers shouldn't take up the cause.

I think

it's a matter of tone. Obviously the sore loser role is not a pretty one, and I am not asking him to whine on national TV.

But to have the opportunity on a national show to at least point out a truth - which is that the media has called a race that is not even finished yet, this is not whining, it is answering the question he is repeatedly asked and will be asked this week in an honest manner. And this honest answer is one that may make some people, those who are not his supporters yet but are somewhat awake and aware of the real world, sit up and realize things in this country are even worse than we all think.

Nope. The media will give it

Nope. You are assuming the media will allow him an opportunity to speak plainly. Now matter how he says it, the media will give it the tone they want it to have. You should know this by now! Dr. Paul knows how this game works. ;)

lol

This on both sides is becoming quite a comedy show. These GOP clowns could come right out on live television and say "Yes we called the caucus because Ron was winning and just blamed it on mother nature" and everyone would be like oh don't say anything because it will make us sound like lunatics and cry babies. You know in this country real men and woman now how to take a fucking and say thank you may I have another lol..The media bias is the one that gets me the most. There is so much evidence since the last election until now that you could make an epic trilogy out of all of the footage and many still say that if we did do just that it would make us look bad. I understand Ron not wanting to make waves because he wants and needs to get airtime but at same time in a free market there would be other media outlets that would jump at the chance to have you on if others would not. I guess this is the reason why I'll never run for office because I still can't wrap my around around some of the tactical logic that is used even by those like Ron that has proven the when you stay simple, consistent, and principled you don't have to lie or play games.

The campaign is doing great

They are focusing their resources on the delegates as that is the highest priority.

What is being suggested here would cost a lot of money and would take a lot of time and the whole campaign would be over before anything would be achieved.

But we can use our resources to inform everybody we know. That is how we can help and then we can let the campaign focus on their priorities.

The campaign is a relative handful of people taking on the establishment that has run the country and the world for centuries. A little realism is needed.

The question should always be; What can I do today?

I'm not sure which is more depressing,

The State GOPs cheating thier own members of an honest effort. Instead bowing to the dictates of a national GOP hack, or that the Paul campaign doesn't do anything about it.

They are hoping RP cries foul

They will then tar him with the broad conspiracy theory kook brush. They are virtually daring him. We know it is fraud, but the evidence is circumstantial. Unless some media dig up some real incontrovertible evidence, nobody outside of the RP supporters is going to believe it as anything but sour grapes.

yes, but imagine if the

yes, but imagine if the situation were reversed: paul leading by 200 votes ahead of mitt romney, then a caucus that is heavily romney is suddenly postponed for a week, won't be counted, and paul is declared the winner.

WE AUSTRIANS NOW

Exactly.

The only thing the campaign can do is what they're doing - don't concede until every vote is counted, push the story of the Romney supporter shutting down the caucus they were winning, hope for a victory in Washington County, and (hopefully) tout it as a win in Maine if it happens.

Shouting "voter fraud" makes Paul look like a whiner - kind of like Newt suing for delegates. This strategy makes him look like a clever politician if it works - let the Maine GOP hang themselves and make himself look like the victim.

I don't play, I commission the league.

Damn

and i thought the 95% included the missing Maine voters...like there would be only 5% left to vote if those areas that didn't get to vote would vote.

Anyone living up there...was it actually pretty bad out? WIth the snow etc.?

A light dusting of snow in Maine this time of year is

like being on a tropical island for them. Even the Girl Scouts went joyfully ahead with their gathering in that same county.

It was a light dusting of snow from heaven and a blizzard of bull dung sent from the GOP elites.

i read somewhere that you

i read somewhere that you have to win 5 states to be in a brokered convention. If its true then they will hack this thing all the way to tampa to prevent Dr Paul from winning 5 states.

Can't be true

Because at a brokered convention, the GOP could pull out a new nominee all together who was never even in the race. This could happen if multiple rounds of voting were not successful in determining a majority winner.

If that happens, would you still want to be a Republican?
