So What Are the Facts About Maine?
Submitted by FSUJAG54 on Sun, 02/12/2012 - 11:26I've seen a few incomplete posts, but does anyone actually know what heppened there? How can it be that Paul held several rallies, each of which drew over 1,000 people and he ended up with less than 2,000 votes? That just doesn't make any sense whatsoever. All I can find on this site are questions about it and conjectures. Does anyone have facts? What is the official Maine campaign team saying? What's going on here? I feel like the campaign is dropping the ball in state after state. I know the MSM isn't going to report anything about this. They've called it for Romney and moved on. Nothing to see here folks. The desired result was achieved and there is no need to discuss the fraud that occurred to get there.

Another fact is...
... not enough Ron Paul Republicans were involved in their county and state GOP parties prior to the week of the caucus to ensure a fair conduct of the caucuses and counts.
That's our fault not their.
Only lunatics think that if you show up the day-of never having been involved that everyone will cheer your arrival. LOL.
If you want something (like a fair vote count) then get involved EARLY and become the vote counter!
"They" did. Nothing stopped you from doing so except yourself.
One fact, I believe is that
One fact, I believe is that this is the guy who actually made the call to postpone Washington County and prevent those votes from contributing to the total.
What? Who would actually believe that somebody would make a decision to postpone a critical caucus for a week and not think to ask if the votes would not be counted?
Apparently he is a Romney supporter, too. Either this man is extremely dishonest or extremely stupid. In fact, we must be stupid if we believe he postponed a caucus for his county in a highly contested state without making some phone calls to (or perhaps more likely receiving phone calls from) key party officials.
