Okay - Here is What We Do URGENT (Maine tactic)

The forces working against us couldn't let that happen uncontested. They purposely delayed the Washington County caucus to Feb. 18 - a county with heavy Paul support - with an excuse of snow. This is to dampen the inevitable media splash of Dr. Paul's first state win, and the momentum sure to follow.
Remember how the steam was taken out of Santorum's Iowa win because he won later by a few votes?
We CANNOT take this sitting down.
WHAT WE CAN DO
We WILL win Maine. But it will happen AFTER the media has already spun a storyline of us losing to Romney. A late win will not be as potent in people's minds.
To COUNTERACT this we need to make the win a BIG EVENT!!!
We need to MAKE the news.
We have the ability! What can we do? Let's have some ideas!
A few from the top of my head: a block party in Maine, probably Washington County. Corresponding marches? Concerts?
We need a website, something like WayToGoMAINE.com! We need to create an Internet splash and meme. We need to Tweet, share on Facebook, have a huge party to celebrate. The media will pick up on our reaction, and we will GET BACK the GIGANTIC effect of the FIRST WIN ever of a Ron Paul run for the presidency!
We have a week to prepare! Thoughts?
The event opportunity IS the Washington caucus itself!
I said it in another thread http://www.dailypaul.com/213412/wow-webster-knew-the-results... but the Washington caucus is the ultimate opportunity for a PROTEST vote.
Radio, TV, newspaper, door to door, whatever you like asking Washington County residents to show the rest of the United States how many votes DON'T count!
Residents, help restore America's confidence in voting by turning out in droves to show that a couple of fat cats in the kangaroo court CANNOT get away with silencing your voice. Be heard on Feb 18th!
Someone should video tape the caucus event and then publish it. I'm sure excerpts from that caucus could be used in future TV spots and by the Super PACs.
This one county's caucus could wind up having 100 times the impact if their caucus had been held as scheduled. The GOP in Maine created this monster and if this caucus gets HUGE turnout it cannot be ignored.

Ideas to make the fraud the story
1. Lawsuits. (Maine discounted voters)
2. Hunger strike (til the discounted votes are counted)
3. Occupy / civil disobedience (Maine RP supporters)
4. Shop only at businesses who will put up "Count all the votes" signs (til the votes are counted)
5. Seek the resignation of and look for charges that can brought against vote fraudsters, including hiring pi to investigate them for any crimes whether related or not to the fraud

We have to actually get the votes first. I'd rather plan for that and plan the media blitz later. Romney has nearly infinite resources to pay to bus people to the straggling caucuses (which currently don't officially count). We need a strategy to ensure an overwhelming win. Making up 200 votes is not going to be easy. It's not like Romney supporters don't know about this.

I agree about
getting the votes. That is HUGELY important and goes without saying.
Washington County favors Dr. Paul (I think we got 8K votes there before?).
We have the advantage of caucuses because our people are more motivated to show up than any other candidate. We're more involved.
I'm saying keep the SPOTLIGHT on Maine. Timing and storytelling is important in Media. Trust me. I'm saying do BOTH. Get out the vote, keep up the fight, and WIN, but we need to OVER DO the celebration to counteract the delay tactic.

...VOTE and WIN.
The Romney vote in Washington County will likely be even less than it would've been, simply because he's already "won". Get out and vote. GRAB AS MANY FAMILY, FRIENDS and NEIGHBORS AND TAKE THEM WITH YOU!
WIN...and then we'll deal with publicity.
