The Delegation Process
Submitted by Cop4Peace on Sun, 02/12/2012 - 14:29I am a police officer from Canada who has become deeply passionate about the Ron Paul movement and have been following the GOP race intensely. Ron Paul has become the embodiment of my convictions and a lot of Canadians feel the same.
I was only vaguely aware of the voter fraud allegations during the Bush/Gore race and had no clue it was this entrenched! I am deeply saddened, but see tremendous courage in all that you are doing to make the world, not just America, a better place.
I was wondering if you good people can answer a few questions:
1) What point did RP drop out in 2008?
2) If Romney and co. gather x number of delegate spots, does that mean those people will vote 100% for that candidate or are there variables
3) If in the caucus states RP gets more delegates, dont they have to pass through county/state nominations to continue to that final convention?

Answers
1) May, 2008
2) 1144 voting for one candidate
3) Yes, NV, IA, ME, MN, MO and others' national delegates will NOT be selected for several months until the conclusion of their state conventions.
