Looking for feedback on this speech.

Here is a speech that our local group coordinator is working on. He's asked for feedback Can everyone give us some feedback? It needs to be kept under 10 minutes and on a single page.

1) Paul is the one most loyal to the US Constitution, Oath of Office, and fiscal responsibility. He stands alone. No individual in history matches Ron Paul’s voting record for the U.S. Constitution. The others make unconstitutional votes. Why trust them now?
2) Paul is a person of moral character. He is a doctor who has delivered around 4,000 babies. Paul is the only veteran on the stage. He’s a statesman who debates issues not personalities.
3) He has never voted for an unbalanced budget; Ever! The others have. Why trust them?
4) Paul is a champion of sound currency, balanced budgets, freedom, private contracts, Austrian economics, property rights, civil rights, states rights, and gun rights(A+ GOA rating). He is consistent. People trust him. No waffling, hiding, or pandering.
5) There are 3 areas of concern I hear about Dr. Paul.
First, the media racial hit pieces from the 1980’s newsletters. Not much to say, but he didn’t write them. Ghost writers did and Paul completely rejects the racist comments.
Second, Can he beat Obama? He gets independents and Democrats at a 3 to 1 pace to date in the primaries. The GOP needs a candidate who draws Independents and Democrats. Paul is that guy. Paul does very well in head to head polls against Obama.
Third, foreign policy questions. This is the big sticking point for certain GOP voters.
a) It’s important to understand the distinction between military and defense spending. There is much money used for purposes other than defense of our borders.
b) Robert Papes work: His DoD funded research is the expert source on suicide terrorism. Watch Prof. Robert Pape on "Dying to Win" YouTube 95 % of suicide terrorism occurs when foreign militaries are present and is almost non existent when the foreign military exit. This is the official findings of the DoD funded research.
c) CIA blowback definition: “an unforeseen and unwanted effect, result, or set of repercussions” An example is the Overthrow of Iranian Premier Mossadeq in 1953 by the CIA. The Shah(a dictator) was installed, it led to a revolution, and our hostages in 79.
d) Isolationism vs non-interventionist. Paul has been incorrectly portrayed as an isolationist. Definition of ISOLATIONISM: a policy of national isolation by abstention from alliances and other international political and economic relations.
Definition of NONINTERVENTION: the state or policy of not intervening in the affairs of other countries. According to: http://www.merriam-webster.com
e) This point needs to be understood in context. This is not a bash against our military. It’s disagreement over the use of our military. Our soldiers are making the greatest sacrifice a human can make when going to battle. Google “Covert United States foreign regime change” You will find hundreds of documented cases of assassinations, coups, dictatorships, false flags, and militarization of rebels who eventually turn on us. General Smedley Butler ,the most decorated Marine in history at his death, published a book detailing the misuse of our military around the world. “War is a racket” 1935
f) Paul will only commit troops with a Congressional declaration of war. Only kings talk of committing without congress. Last declaration was WWII. Last war won was WWII.
g) If Paul is so wrong on Foreign Policy. Why does he get more from active duty military than every other candidate combined? That’s every Democrat & Republican for 6 years. A 10-1 ratio over Romney and a 100-1 ratio over Santorum. His top three sources: Active Duty Army, Navy, and Air Force. His goal is to station our troops at home to protect this county. Stop guarding South Korea, start protecting South Texas. Every dollar we spend protecting other countries is a dollar used in economic competition against us.
Bottom line. A vote for the others is a vote for the status quo of the last hundred years. It’s a continuation of overseas adventures, entitlements, loss of civil rights, and most importantly it’s a vote for bankruptcy. This isn’t about Republican or Democrat. This is about our survival as a nation. I plead with you to grab this chance in history. Vote a constitutionalist who is a student of economics, history, and liberty. Otherwise, May God help us all as we enter insolvency.

Who are you trying

to reach with this speech? Will this person be speaking this to people who already have a slight idea about what Dr. Paul stands for? It is very good if you have an idea about him already, if not and depending on the group, I have to honestly say some of this will go over people heads.

As someone who starting learning about Dr. Paul back in October of last year, and I started by listening to a 45 minute speech and did a lot of research, I get it now, but most people voting do not do that as we know. So when I look at things from my view point of head in the sand MSM media, I would say most of what I hear would go over my head and my friends and family as well.

Coming from an msm view point a person most often will not understand what is meant my sound currency and austrian economics, and they don't know what end the fed means. If they don't understand,it is scary....so the media gets away with calling him kooky.

So I think it depends on who you are trying to reach here. You can't expect people to meet you where you are on understanding Dr. Paul, you have to meet them where they are, on their level.

This speech is designed for

This speech is designed for GOP voters who are not supporting Paul due to foreign policy but like his constitutionality and fiscal issues.

he's got my vote!

I might be a little biased though.

One suggestion: if possible, show graphs of the military donations in this election cycle and the national debt since 1940.

What is begun in anger, ends in shame.

It just amazes me how

It just amazes me how effective the media brainwashing has been to convince people to support our current foreign policy.
