Attention Alaskans: Ron Paul can easily win Alaska March 6! GOOD NEWS! This should interest all others as well.

The Alaskan Presidential Preference Poll will be on March 6.
I have learned the Polls will be held in central locations (All Fairbanks area voters go to the Carlson Center, North Pole area to the Town Hall). The good news is thet we will be using paper ballots and will be free to observe the countbut must be there at the time the polls close. It would be a good idea to arrive well before voting starts and make sure the ballot boxes are empty and insure they are not "stuffed" (like the way Murkowski beat Joe Miller). No computers will be used to count ballots. Drag everybody you know who like Ron Paul to the polls even if they are not registered to vote as they can register or change to Republican when they go to vote. I am planning to take the day off and donate time to help the polling location and recommend the same if you can. Polls open at 4 PM on the 6th. The vote results are Binding for the 26(?) delagates. The District conventions are the following Saturday at the Westmark Hotel (Fairbanks area) and the North Pole Hotel (North Pole). UPDATE: If anybody from the national HQ sees this, please do your best to have Ron Paul, or at least Rand Paul. But Ron will insure a big win.

Alaska is a caucus state

That means you need to be there before the event starts, this is not like a primary where you just show up at the polls whenever and cast your ballot. This is a caucus you need to be there early and you need to stay after the non binding straw poll to volunteer to be a delegate and/or vote for other Ron Paul supporters to be delegates.

Just kidding. PLEASE KEEP POSTING ABOUT AK. And any other fucking primary that is coming up. I said on the phone the other night to antoher supporter that RP needs to do a quick stop in AK after he goes to WA. Neither of us could recall any candidate actually going to AK nor could we recall any President doing so (though I guessed Eisenhower might have during the cold war).

So RP going up there would be big news on TV and the attention show might get him the turnout necessary to win.

PS - I'm jealous of all the snow you guys have.

Why All Alaskans Should Vote For Ron Paul

I think it would be a good idea to make up a list of reasons that specifically caters to Alaskans and why Ron Paul is the best choice for Alaska. For ex how he would return all Fed lands to the state.

If we get a good list going we can say it in our short speeches at the caucus and it would appeal voters on a more personal level.

and organized about 5 Town Hall meetings for Ron Paul to visit. He will visit if you have the Town Hall meetings setup.... Go to his website for it talks about Events... Time is wasting and a Visit to Washington State & Alaska would be a great idea. But if he's going to come it will take someone like your group to put these events together!

Better yet stop in North Dakota then Idaho then fly out further west then to the North!

The release of 2 highly anticipated video games occur on that day,Mass Effect 3 and Silent Hill. Why is this relevant? Young voters/gamers may be distracted from the election. Please resist the urge to stay home and play games for one night! People use sports and weather as an excuse. Why not games? Just a thought.

Last election cycle I was there observing the counting of the vote and it was very transparent. I like to think that some folks still have integrity in this great land of the north. If we could get a visit from someone in the campaign, I think that would secure a victory. Otherwise, I'm sorry, the reality is that the Mormons will be organized and will get their vote out. Also, if the Christians go for Santorum and get organized, it could be another Huckabee disaster.

We just have to GET OUT THE VOTE and Ron Paul WILL take Alaska this time. We just need that little push called Ron Paul's presence! :)

Wow a post about Alaska! We have been preaching liberty for four years and hope that the efforts are not in vain. My wife and I collected signatured to get the good Dr on the ballot and was eeeeeasy.

So true if a day flight even to Los Anchorage would make it a landslide. Four years ago year we did well but Romneys kid showed up and it was a lovefest. Another drawback was a prolife mailer supporting I think the Huckster came out the week of the vote

I am taking the week off of work and will pack them there under force if I have to , not kidding.
