ALERT: Tucker Carlson's The Daily Caller is FUNDED by Frothy's Billionaire SugaDaddy!
Submitted by AnCapMercenary on Sun, 02/12/2012 - 22:05Until recently TheDC has never disclosed this.
Just remember, Tucker Carlson who owns TheDailerCaller is NOT, I repeat, NOT our "friend."
Now, I 'get' that they do have two well known R3VOL there: most notably Jack Hunter who occasionally has his columns published there. And, Michelle Fields, the one whom Dr.Paul recently 'rescued' from an obnoxious CBS cameraman who was shoving her and her camerawoman: http://dailycaller.com/2011/11/16/cbs-ignored-ron-paul-at-de...
Nevertheless that don't change the fact that Tucker is a LINO (Libertarian In Name Only) who intentionally tried to smear RP by surreptitiously inviting the publicity savvy Dennis Hof (nothing against him, he is who he is; Tucker is the nefarious one here), the owner of Moonlite Bunny Ranch and his bunnies to ambush Dr. Paul for a photo-op at one of his speeches, just so that it'll make the newscycle and make him look ridiculous by plastering the same headline "Pimpin' for Paul" just as the nation was barely beginning to wake up to him.
I considered that a beta-test leading up to the coordinated timed release of the 1st round of The New Republic(an)'s Jamie Kirchick's Newsletter smear, just coincidentally heading into midnight of the Jan 2008 NH Primary, in order to kill the momentum that was boiling up from all the disaffected and war-weary anti-war liberals and the independents.
In fact, no one would've ever heard of Jamie Kirchick, without F*cker Carlson featuring him on his then MSDNC show.
Laughably, Kirchick is a supposed 'liberal' who now works at a neocon thinktank. Though I guess 'supposed' isn't necessary as the neocons were fmr. Trotskyites. So, the same diff. as liberals. Occasionally, he still writes for neocon Bill Kristol's The Weekly STD, and for his old sugadaddy boss, the Likudnik/real racist bigot Marty Peretz's 'Liberal' rag: The New Republic(an).
In fact, one could argue, Kirchick literally was a 'nobody' in the biz, prior to that. But when I saw his disgusting 'ha-ha-I'm getting away with this' scumbag-smirk on MSDNC, I did recognize him from a little known RINO 'docu' on colleges censoring 1st Amendment rights of conservative leaning students and their causes. You can look it up at your own discretion. It's on YouTube. But beyond that, he literally had zero presence.
Not to mention, Carlson helped provide the Kirchick narrative bulwark as a 'wall of separation' to Kochtopus Reason/CATO's Julian Sanchez, David Weigel(now at Slate.com), Matt Welch, and to lesser extent Nick Gillespie providing all the URL's, to act as an 'independent 3rd party' that went on to 'confirm' all of TNR & Kirchick's assertions.
So now we find that The DC was started with a seed money from Foster Friess, the rabidly anti-Islam billionaire sugadaddy for Frothy?
While TheDC has not been rabidly pro-Frothy, or anti-RP, though of course they never cease to be snakedy-snark-snark vs. the Doc, unless it's a piece done by Fields or Hunter, and a few other bloggers there, still it's worth noting who's paying the bills.
For once, I actually want to be genuinely surprised by some political revelation. Sadly, no amount of corruption or 'shadowy' financiers backing all these sycophants for the Wall St. Military Industrial Complex, comes as a surprise anymore:

Foster Friess celebrates The Daily Caller
By DYLAN BYERS | 1/23/12 12:53 PM EST
Foster Friess, the billionaire businessman who is backing the pro-Rick Santorum super PAC, talks to my colleague Ken Vogel about one of his other investments: The Daily Caller, which was founded two years ago this month after Friess had lunch with founders Tucker Carlson and Neil Patel in his adopted hometown of Jackson Hole, Wyo., and decided to invest $3 million in seed funding.
Friess told Vogel he is “absolutely thrilled” with DC's work and recently decided to invest a further $500,000:
“I just love what they’re doing, and I couldn’t help but be captivated by them and their plans." he said, praising the outlet for writing stories ignored by the mainstream media. "They’re the ones who got Michael Steele on the gentlemen’s club story, and they got the Journolist story."
"What are the chances of the mainstream media coming up with the fact that 20 percent of the health-care waivers in the month of April were given to high end restaurants in Nancy Pelosi’s district?" he went on. "If they actually uncovered that unwittingly, they probably wouldn’t have publicized it.”

Blue Blood Tucker is not our friend and never will be.
I'll take John Stewart, no real friend of Ron Paul, over snarky Judas like Tucker.
Good writing, good read.

Let's ask Michael Nystrom
if he had $3,000,000 in seed money... does he think he'd need another $500,000 after two years up and running?
Sounds like the dementia is setting in with old Foster...
And I'm sure Tucker Carlson did a pretty good con job on him.
Foster supports and 'believes' in Santorum... nuff said.

Yep
Tucker Carlson is pretty much scum city.
Started the whole pimping for paul thing and continues to keep it going even after everyone else is beyond it.

"Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it's realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy." - Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul
This is good research...
Foster Frieze is also a major backer of Tea Party Nation and Herman Cain. Foster, as well as TPN and Cain are major supporters of a new constitutional convention.
They claim it's to create a balanced budget. For Foster Frieze it's to eliminate the inheritance tax (which in his case can run as high as 500 MILLION to ONE BILLION dollars).
Regardless of their motivation, Frieze, Cain, TPN and Carlson hate the constitution and legacy of the founding fathers.
They claim to love it, but scratch the surface and their Straussian socialism rears its ugly head.
"Tea Party Nation" & "Tea Party Express"
always sounded to me like some drag-queen convention, no offense to those who are FABULOUS!
this also falls under the "I 'get' that it happens, but I don't get it!" - column: how do grown adults subject themselves to an entire pageantry of parade of denial?
It's like the PR nature of everything in our culture has become such a norm, at this point, I don't think even the social engineers know that they're lying to themselves intentionally, any more.
Classic Blue Pill.
How can one attend an event started and funded by Dickhead Armey, and every KNOWN establishment AstroTurf, and hold rallies to... rail against the Establishment?
Rhetorical, to be sure. But still, how long can a 'grown up' lead a charade, against oneself, without getting disgusted? What is the nominal statutes of limitation on that? Sure for those directly involved with TPE & TPN, it IS a money-making venture & political lifeboat for their failed previous political careers, but what about those misguided Pavlov's dopes who attend their rallies?
For all the two year long rah-rah, the "tea party" is voting for Frothy, Grinch, and Flip-Romney?
Do these people maintain a little known thing called the BS-meter or a Douchebag-Radar, at all?
Obviously Not. But seriously, how are these folks even living, breathing sentient beings? For most politics is a boring activity, yet they were compelled by something to get involved, so one would think, somewhere along the line, common sense would enter the fray, but alas with no avail.
The uber astroturf Tea Party Nation and Tea Party Express may as well be the RINO equivalent to Soro's CIA-directed "Color Revolutions" abroad.
