Urgent: Wash County Maine Caucus Voters

Yes the news media, especially in print has been unreal.

So, all town chairs and/ or caucus committee members were polled about the impending weather. The safety of our members was first and foremost. That is why it was cancelled. We didn't caucus because we forgot or just didn't schedule as Charlie Webster would like some people to believe.

The State GOP forced every one's hand to caucus by Feb 11th so they could have their big announcement to the world. Very suspicious.

The only half of Aroostook is reported; 2 towns in Hancock are Missing and We don't count. So, let's just go with those numbers and oh by the way Romney wins.

Folks at this point I don't care who wins. It's what actually took place, what is being covered up and why don't we count?

IT WAS A STORM FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.

We will CAUCUS THIS SATURDAY 1:30-5:00, WASHINGTON ACADEMY, RT. 191, HILL ST. There will be signs to point to the door. Parking is across the street and around the corner on the left.

YOU MUST RE-POST YOUR SIGN. FILL IN YOUR NAME OR THE NAME OF THE PERSON CALLING THE CAUCUS.

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR TOWN CLERK OR A DEPUTY (not a big deal to be deputized if he/she can't come) IF YOU PLAN ON REGISTERING UN-INROLLED TO REPUBLICANS

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR TOWNS PRINT OUT OF REGISTERED REPUBLICANS. IF YOU ARE NOT THE GO TO PERSON CHECK WITH THE ONE WHO IS IN CHARGE OF YOUR TOWN AT THIS MOMENT.

This is a gift of time for you if the above has not been accomplished. This is an opportunity to spend one more week selling your commitment to being heard, recognized and COUNTED. If you can increase your towns attendance the more the better.

Mark, Violet, Richard and myself went down to Machias in the storm to make contact with anyone who may not have gotten the word. It was bad and about 10 people showed up. I am glad we went.

Now it's your turn! Elections of town representative and then County Committee members are the first big agenda items. The delegates to the convention and it's chair will be the second biggest items. If you think you want to be a delegate from your town (# is based on # of registered Republicans) There is a $25 fee which has to be paid that day. Checks preferred. I am sure that arrangements can be made if Saturday payment doesn't work for you and you are committed to go.

If your town doesn't elect County Committee members, next step up in the hierarchy you town will have no say and therefore will not be heard at the state level. We elect our State Committee Man and Committee Woman at the CONVENTION, May 5-6 in Augusta. This is an important position and needs a members who can make sure that Washington County WILL BE HEARD!
