On Main and the Vote - Keep it Simple
Submitted by Patrian on Mon, 02/13/2012 - 10:01Some people get caught up in the arguments on Washington County and whether or not certain GOP folks in Maine are sincere and if it’s just a coincidence that Paul was the one running second when they called it with 84% of the vote.
When debating these folks in person or on radio, keep in mind the bottom line is VERY SIMPLE.
Did the GOP in Maine give every registered Republican a chance to cast their vote for the primary?
NO.
Is the GOP in Maine going to make it up and let every citizen’s vote count?
NO. At least not unless forced to.
This is a clear failure of the leadership in MAINE and is not even remotely debatable.
