Not high on math, but my common sense tells me, that % can go up or down in the results, but not the actual tally raw vote
Submitted by whispering Joe on Mon, 02/13/2012 - 10:15has anybody ever seen the networks when they bring in the results, how they will give us the % of counties and Candidates,
Now I get it, lets say Newts % goes up and Paul's goes down I get that, lets say Newts Raw vote is 100 and Paul's is 95 ok! well lets say Fox has another report, and Newt's % goes up and Paul's goes down now thats basic math, so Newt's Votes goes from 100 to 250, now this is were Iam lost How does Paul's Actual Raw vote Tally when his % goes down how does the tally go from 95 lets say to 70.
Ive seen this happen, and Iam wondering the % can go up and down but should the tally always stay the same or Increase but never decrease, if it goes down with the % then should we not call that Theft

sure it is possible
a voting district might have their votes pulled because they were input incorrectly. AP (who is generally the provider to the networks) may have made an error.
People are expecting perfection in realtime as they watch. I can't count how many times I have heard (not RP related) of initial reports being corrected as they were input wrong, twice, etc.
