Time commitment required for being massachussets republican delegate?

I know everyone says being a delegate is worth the cause no matter how much time it takes or vacation days. But I'm trying to get an idea on how much time it will require to be a delegate in Massachusetts in terms of the primary vote and caucus voting process and then on to the national level if I were to go that far. Anyone have experience in MA doing this?

I got an email saying I had to declare by the 15th as republican to become a delegate, something I didn't know until now. I'm registered independent and didn't realize I would have to do anything different than I've always done which is show up, declare for that period, vote, and undeclare afterward.

Will it require time off from work? Nights or weekends?

Thanks!
