just kidding, just an odd crash and the way the server is configured, it takes a long time to reboot. I wish I had a way to failover to another server but right now it would take too much time and resources to work on

I would rather know why we're losing it to these kind of posts as opposed to outages. Outages happen, for many reasons, and not all of them are conspiracies. They could be hosted at the same offsite facility and have a pipe down. This is after all a giant network of cables.

If you want to look outside of 'traffic' reason, look at fires, snow, drunk drivers hitting telephone poles. Not a server provider on this earth guarantees 100% uptime because 'shit happens' sometimes. Relax folks.

On the other side of the commentary, Michael doesn't have to post his contact info and there are outside resources to check the site status. You can PING it, DNS check the domain name, and the WHOIS contains contact information for him. Although you are urged not to use it to pummel him with things he most likely already knows; Like 'your site is down'.

Be patient and be cool :) When I get through all the posts and I start jonsin, I go read drudge, or pick up a book. Sometimes I even get out and canvas for the campaign :)

Sincerely wanting to know the dynamics of the conspiracy trend is a courageous thing. Here is my take. The majority of online activists have sifted through the corners of the web looking at material the average person: doesn't know exists, Doesn't know how to look for, or Is interesting, but is taboo.

Since the rise of sites such as Youtube These once unavailable videos (very well produced)include public figures that have went massively viral and have not been properly addressed by our public figures.

For an example, search New World Order in youtube and select the filter for longer than 20 min. see the views?. Take notice of the like bar as well as the amount of views as well as the amount of pages.

Apathy to the "believers or open minded individuals becomes overwhelming over time(at least 10-15 yrs) as the evidence stacks up without effective recourse, having access to a world of information that is unacceptable to the very people that actually represent change. The mindset of the older generation in government can be seen as the habits of old and status quo. Ron

Paul comes into the picture. The online activists realize quickly Even though he doesn't go around spouting conspiracy theories he has addressed the proper solutions, can affect change and lets the situation speak for itself.

Ron Enters the fray only speaking the truth, and what you see is attention building for someone entering the power structure, whom we can follow and judge reality based on his wisdom and standard of truth. This was once distant to us and the younger generation who were not politically involved.

They more decisive have learned not to call everything a conspiracy and to speak on factual evidence. But they are on edge and would like to see some acknowledgment to some of their highest concerns where reasonably applicable. Just Like when everyone screams that They are censoring Ron with the black out.

Michael Nystroms blog is grassroots blog and a link to an exciting political movement that people realize they can Effect change.

I only became aware from interest out of health situations from people around me. Which lead to research into Gov Corruption which lead me here.

I think the OP and others were just seeking any info that may be known to the DP PTB about this specific occurrence.

I will say however, besides what I noted below in my earlier comment, I have experienced some other problems w/ the net(not my connection/ISP) today. Multiple things that have not occurred together before began w/i a brief period of time.

Again, many normal/routine explanations for these things but it would be also inappropriate for anyone knowledgeable to deny that the means, desire and precedent exists for deliberate and targeted disruption.

We may need some sort of Web rally point for important times of delivering information.

Unless I'm mistaken, DailyPaul.com is a website. But, I'm SURE it is absolutely not being watched by anyone other than the members here. Yes, this one site is locked down tighter than Fort Knox.

No reason to think that something as simple as sniffer software could get anyone's password during the clear text transmission of logins.

Even if one doesn't use Facebook, "they" (or any regular Joe with a little know-how) can still collect tons of personal info on others. Facebook, and the internet in general, just makes it minutely easier. Best bet is to keep in mind that once you put something on the internet, it will NOT go away. Ever.

That said, I don't use Facebook, but more because of the drama than anything else.
