UPDATE:
Thanks everyone for your help!
My numbers were incorrect.
The 1996 total is correct.

I keep getting 2011 total votes for Ron vs the 1996 reported.

I find descrepencies in your total, according to the PDF I downloaded, in Cumberland, Oxford, Penobscot, Sagadahoc, and York, for a total of 15 votes. Check it out to confirm. 1996 appears to be correct (provided the file wasn't changed).
Maine tally of Ron Paul votes
Add the following votes to the tally for the 18 Waldo county cities as reported by Raymond St Onge. Ron Paul got 43, Romney 35, Santorum 41 and Gingrich 18. These are early votes that were turned in by him and are MISSING ! That would give Ron Paul 7 more votes for now.
Yep, you're right...i rechecked my numbers 3 more times
I saw where i was repeating numbers....Thanks!
no
I get their total but different county numbers
If voting could really change things,
it would be illegal. Here is hoping for change!
Bump. That's 15 more votes,
Bump. That's 15 more votes, and cuts Romney's lead to 179 votes.
BTW... I just added the Romney numbers, and they do come out to 2190. Paul's total appears to be wrong, however.
Update: I just ran the Paul numbers and I think they are actually correct.
That being said... some of the tallies don't match those from watchthevote2012, however.
Thanks for taking the time
:)
If the numbers are correct then you are correct. 2011
I added the numbers and yes you are correct, the result is 2011 not 1996!

I just want to make sure the numbers i tallied for each county comes out to be the numbers i posted.
Appreciate the help on this.
I checked Mitt's numbers and they are the same total reported on the source.
Thanks :)

No, they are right by my math
The biggest discrepancy between your numbers and theirs seems to be your York tally. But my tally is different for a few others too.
Here are the tallies I did that were different than yours:
Cumberland 517
Oxford 80
Penobscot 165
Sagadahoc 50
York 321
If you add these up, using your numbers for the other counties, that equals 1996.
I don't know if this is good or bad news, but I hope it helps.
Ya, I rechecked 3 more times....my numbers were wrong.
Thank you for helping. :)
