So where do we stand on this? I think it would be worthwhile to make an example of the vote-riggers and get some publicity out of the deal. But it is "not worth much while." We have other fish to fry. Has anyone handed this off to Drudge or whomever to pick up on it from here?

I think it is staged to downplay criminal intent... I mean you gotta so-called RP supporter saying they should just call it a tie? Give me a break. Then someone else comes in and says my town shows up as all zeros as well and out of 18 votes the results were: Santorum- 7, Romney- 7, Paul- 2, Newt- 2. In otherwords he's trying to say that not only towns that favored Paul were ommitted but also Santorum and equally (just by coincidence) Romney.

Give me a break... as if they are going to go on a public forum and unload in public view the real trash. This is staged to make it look like a little incompetence and if the votes were all counted the results would have been virtually the same.

One so-called RP supporter on there, LarryinAugusta, is calling for a tie because as he puts it: "Unless it is an overwhelming majority I do not think you can call it for one over the other."

What RP supporter would accept a tie? These sickos will try every con in the book and that's what this is and that's why it's here.

"Errors" (to downplay criminal intent) ...and of course if these "errors" could give RP a win it will be RP supporters who will be reviewing this blog which is what is happening right now.

Also all those statements in that blog may be edited at a future date to adjust to responses or to change any "typos" or misstatements that may be a little too revealing or even incriminating.

Considering "Vic" is actually playing in character since he actually is Libertarian leaning

I'm normally very skeptical, but this checks out after I had done some research on the characters.

A low key and discreet phone call to Vic from a fellow Maine concerned resident might be the way to go. See posts below for the principals involved.

A phrase like "we need to get it right, like they did over in Iowa" or "these things take time, but it's in everyone's interest to have an accurate number of votes of course."

Another phrase "do you think this will happen on its own, or do they (Charlie Webster) need a little push?"

Making a mistake is one thing. Not owning up to it and making a correction is another. This does make the party look bad because of the actions of the party and not the people talking about it.

Also, kinda wierd that the Waldo County totals would not be counted when they were submitted a week early. If there were concern about the breakdown you would think that someone would have called.

What I did was give her the right numbers, and then called the Vice-Chairperson of my caucus to let her know what happened. The person at the Maine GOP office didn't sound really interested in what I had to say until I told her that we publicly counted the ballots in our caucus, then her ears perked up.
