brought tears to my eyes. Not tears of joy, but tears of recognition.

Recognition that I was once a closed minded, war mongering neo-conservative who thought what I was "fighting for" was something worthy.

The dates listed on these speeches is the most striking for me. In 2003, when Dr. Paul was fighting to keep me at home, I was stupidly deployed in the Persian Gulf supporting and suffering for the very machine I am now fighting against. I didn't know what I was doing, I was young, naive and foolhardy. I truly believed that by serving my country and supporting the war effort I was doing my job to "protect" my country.

Now, as I age, I have seen the error of my ways. I have seen the neo-conservative agenda for what it truly is. I was led astray - but the fault was my own. Dr. Paul has been looking out for me my entire adult life - he has been fighting for me, and my liberties before I even knew or valued what I had.

Realization of your shortcomings isn't easy. It makes me want to kick myself for being asleep for so long. I'm 32 now, and only in the last few years have I woken from the slumber. I have a lot of work to do.

Ron, I now know you have had my back for my entire life. I can't express how much I appreciate it. In return, I am now doing everything I can to get your back, and see you into the Presidency to fix what I've helped to screw up.

I know I'm not the only one - so lets unite my DP brothers and sisters, and spread the message of liberty FAR AND WIDE - and take back our Country.

This is one of the most powerful Ron Paul Videos I have ever seen.

Absolutely fantastic!

I have seen some version of this video earlier, but not exactly this version. I think this version is even better.

This video could be continuously on the Front Page of Daily Paul as an Invitation to All people who visit Daily Paul. There isn't a better short introduction to Ron Paul than this video.
