Hello fellow Freedom Fighters!

I posted a short note about Jacqueline Smith running against Rob Bishop in Utah's 1st Congressional District a few days ago. I wanted to follow up with a recent short speech she gave at a meet the candidate night here in Utah. Making the speech more interesting is that Congressman Bishop, who voted to pass the NDAA, is sitting in the audience.

I have to admit being a little moved seeing things like this. That's what I call a "true" American.

You know Dr. Paul said he was a little surprised by the big growing support, because he "didn't know we were out there."

I may not have had Dr. Paul's wisdom and insights to our problems, but I would have known about us being here, because deep down I've always believed this is still America.

like to know more but - not local :)

id love to see more on her she seems great but this wasn't really involving any issues - but i like her. if she was on a national level id look more into her - good luck mrs. smith

Thanks for the well wishes. This may be a local race, but it is Congress that puts these horrible pieces of legislation forward for the President to sign. Since Ron Paul is leaving we need a bunch of like-minded people to step up and replace him in droves.
