Why did Rand Paul endorse this guy?

Cruz Cruz Cruz

All I hear down in Texas is how great Ted Cruz is, he gets all these endorsements from Tea Party guys. its just the same as the Marco Rubio thing all the sudden its the thing for Tea Party guys to do. so they do it.

That being said, I do think Marco Rubio AND Ted Cruz are both conservative individuals who are genuine in their beliefs.

I do think that its a bit like "Dewhurst HAS TO BE DEFEATED" much like the histaria is with simply DEFEATING OBAMA!!! has all the repubs believing they must vote for Mitt "bc he IS the only one who can do it". it is the same logic with Cruz.

I really like Glenn Addison, that is who I will be voting for but I won't be upset if Cruz gets in there.

in the ideology of Ron Paul. National Review, Rand Paul, Jim DeMint have endorsed Ted Cruz....that's a mixed bag if you ask me. Problem is, David Dewhurst is running also, and Addison is at a low low recognition in Texas.

The Politics is..Cruz is not a true senate candidate like Ron or Rand, but he will be better than Kay Bailey and Dewhurst.

I like Addison better, but he needs to build to beat Cornyn in the future. Sucks that they're doing some "dirty politics"...it's actually just free politics, the guy seems to be using his own email address...

I digress...Dewhurst has HUGE name recognition here in Texas, but he's also a crooked guy, he sucks in debates like way worse than Rick Perry, but that name recognition matters so much.

He ENDED the TSA legislation that passed with an overwhelming majority in the texas legislature.

So it seems that Cruz can be a good candidate to beat Dewhurst...but he isn't the exact one I want.

The media guy was using a bogus name and email address. From that way the article reads they were able to figure out who because he > also < used his real address and the IP matched.

I'm voting Addison. He just needs a few more supporters to go to bat for him!

I would not put Demint in the same category as Ron paul. Hell, I will get flack for this, but I dont put Rand in with Ron. Ron is a libertarian. The others are not.

I don't understand why this is getting voted down.

The 'psyops'-wannabe approach Cruz's guy seems to be taking just doesn't come off as professional in the least.. couldn't the Cruz campaign do better with all that money in their coffers? (Goldman Sachs money, look it up)
