MAINE ought to DECLARE Ron Paul the Winner.
Submitted by Cheiro Honlomarr on Tue, 02/14/2012 - 09:07The publicity has been so negative resulting from the tampering with the voters votes and giving false results that no one can place any trust in the GOP in Maine, Iowa, Florida, and it just gets deeper and deeper. The Maine GOP has emerged as Frauds...there is no doubt about that. There is some talk that the Maine GOP, in light of all this corruption and fraud, ought to CALL RON PAUL the Maine winner.
US voters cannot put any trust in those whom we allow to give accurate vote counts. And the GOP must urgently do a quick repair job for IMAGE is everything and now the Image of the GOP is not good here in Maine, or in Iowa and other states as well. Let the GOP embrace Ron Paul and win in November. Or keep screwing with Ron Paul and surely Fall. It is decision time boys. Make it RIGHT this time.

2 frauds don't make a right
They need to open this process up and provide some transparency and correct the items that have been disputed and count the remaining votes.
Our job should be to get people in Washington Co out to vote next Sat. We can only win by getting more votes.
But 2 rights made a fraud
Webster and Romney.
Real eyes realize real lies
2012, we want our country back
2012 is the year for Ron Paul!
I was thinking about this.
If we won the majority of delegates in Maine, like it appears we did, can't the delegates vote to overturn the original call and just declare the state won by Paul? I admit I'm fuzzy on Caucus states (live in Cali), so anybody with some knowledge on this?
umm, no the delegates can't
umm, no the delegates can't do anything but go to the next county/district/state convention and cast their vote there. They have no authority to declare anything for the party. As painful as all of this fraud is, it is actually a good thing, because RP is still getting delegates and it is forcing the GOP to resort to more and more outright fraud with each state. So where I think this is going is that the GOP is going to end up exposing themselves and the entire fraudulent voting system including the Diebold fraud. I also think it makes the RP supporters work harder and harder to overcome the bias. I think it will still get worse before it gets better, but there's light at the end of the tunnel. Can you see it?
Caucus vs. Primary
Thanks for the info. I'm used to the Primary system in California, so I admit I don't fully understand the caucus state system. I do know that here, our delegates to the state convention DO get to vote on things like party planks, policy, etc. I've also heard that if the majority of state delegates in Nevada vote to do so, they can pass a resolution un-binding the delegates from the reported beauty contest percentages. It sounds like delegates do have say in some matters at Conventions. By that logic, if someone at the Maine Convention passed a resolution declaring RP the actual winner, they could. I guess the problem is timing. We want this fixed NOW, not after Super Tuesday
I bet deep inside they regret
I bet deep inside they regret doing it the way they did it. They probably knew there would be back lash just not to the extent of this. Alot of people make the case saying they should want to be the FIRST state that Paul win's.... well maybe, just maybe, they feel the public perception of them being the first state he won would be a BAD thing? I don't know I'm just trying to come up with anything here.
All polls I saw, showed it would be close. But again, all polls I saw, had Ron Paul on top. I know Paul supporters are more enthusiastic than the Romnite's so I am shocked and won't ever believe today, tomorrow, or next year that this was fair game.
