A day on the job

Just wanted to share my story. I was at work last night when the owner called me to talk about scheduling issues. She asked me if I could work the following evening and I hemmed and hawed and said, "I'll do it, but I hope you realize I'll be missing my Tea Party Meeting."

The rest of the conversation went like this:
She asked me if I was interested in political stuff like that and I said I was.
Then she asked me who I was supporting for president. I answered, "I'm not going to get fired if I answer this question wrong, am I?"
She laughed and said, "of course not!"
I stated my support for Ron Paul to which she replied,
"You're getting a raise!"
Of course she was kidding, but we talked about Ron Paul for a few minutes and I referred her to the DP and warned her how addictive it can become.

It's so wonderful to build local webs of support for liberty. I think people are ready....from the workers to the owners.
