Something really fishy is going on...
I think the Romney camp is trying to validate claims that there's a secret alliance between the Paul and Romney campaigns...
It's been bubbling under the surface as the two battle each other with oven mitts on, but now it's popping its ugly face in broad daylight in the form of Ann Coulter.
On Hannity today she said Ron Paul is her second choice after Romney...

I heard this on the Hannity show today also, hardly could believe my ears. Mark Simone is just another neocon punk that beats up R.P. supporters on air every chance he gets. Coulter, probably knew what was coming and would not let a word in edgwise. Does seem like something is cooking at least in Romneys and Coulters heads about R.P. supporters. The great thing about R.P. is we can trust him not to sell us out.

Identity Transition
Coulter, like a lot of Identity Conservatives, has staked so much of her reputation being pro war that she is having a lot of difficulty backing away from that position. Not to mention that she sells her books and gets speaking time for audiences that are religious and national defense conservatives. Coming out for Paul would lose her a lot of market share. If she is rich enough, she might have the courage to take the career risk. I think folks like this need an escape valve and Paul could provide it for them if he nuanced his language just a bit.
If instead of saying, see I told you that you were wrong and would come around eventually (which is an insecure attitude), he might try saying, I can understand your position any why you were there. It made some sense at the time especially when it seemed our civilization was in jeopardy. But I am suggesting a different, better way and I think history has now shown that there is a better way, a way that used to be the most conservative way to be. Welcome home to the true conservative movement.

Romney's Sons Like Ron Paul ??
I read the other day that Romney's sons actually like Ron Paul,and that Mrs.Paul and Ann Romney do get along.Hopefully,his sons can help their father understand some of Paul's policy stances.I would never vote a Romney-Paul ticket,EVER !! Every time reporters ask Paul if he had to drop out of the race,would he endorse any other candidate,he replies that as of now no he wouldn't,but perhaps they will change their minds on some of the issues.I have noticed that some of the candidates seem to be latching on to some of Paul's idea's.
